This episode features some pretty awesome guest stars. Harold Perrineau, of Lost and Oz fame, plays a yoga instructor. He’s very bendy but unfortunately, his one super bendy position aggravates an old neck injury and Rube’s got his Post-it. Jewel Staite is also in this episode as a goth record store employee. You’ll remember her as Kaylee from Firefly and if you don’t, you should. Mason is desperately trying to pick up a woman through the use of all of the worst lines in the history of existence.
Meanwhile, it’s a rough day at the Lass house as they prepare to go to her gravesite to see her gravestone for the first time. Reggie struggles with something to bring to George’s grave. At the cemetery, Joy apologizes to George and it’s truly a moving moment. Reggie wants to say something as well but doesn’t want Joy to hear it.
Murray makes it but a rabbit is not so lucky. George chases the pet reaper down, about to give him a hard time but she notices he’s dirty and gives him the $20 she found earlier. It’s her day and all things considered, she has a pretty good one. She gets her job back at Happy Time and seems to be at peace with her reaperness. She, Rube, Daisy, Mason and Roxy all share quite a bit of champagne at her grave. And all was relatively well.
What did you think about this episode? It’s a really nice way to end a season, especially such a fantastic first season. Leave your TwoCents in the comments!
