So, David’s bringing in the very attractive daughter of his friends, Ron and Elaine, who, it also turns out, is staying with David. Wow, Ron and Elaine either trust David exclusively or they just don’t care about their daughter. Donna is obviously the hit of the office. A shiny new toy and all that.

Jennifer from Head Office drops in to see if David’s made any changes that will up the efficiency level in the Slough branch so that they can all keep their jobs. He hasn’t, of course, and tries, badly, to lie his way out of it. It obviously blows up in his face. Obviously.

Someone has created a photoshopped porno pic of David and has passed it to everyone in the office via email, even to the cleaning lady who doesn’t even have an email address. Gareth commandeers the meeting room to stage an investigation to find the culprit. Turns out, it was Chris Finch, David’s friend at another branch.

I love watching David squirm under Jennifer’s disdain. I think I like watching David get in trouble more than when Michael Scott gets cornered because David is just a jerk. He’s not that likeable, but he’s fun to watch because he says the stupidest things. I think he sounds smarter than Michael because everything sounds better in an English accent, don’t you think?
