This week, we find out there's a death loophole. If you don't show up to your appointment, your appointment gets rescheduled. So, in case you're keeping score, if the person shows up to the appointment but a reaper prevents them from dying, their soul rots inside of them. If a reaper doesn't show up to a person's appointment, the soul is stuck in there and experiences all manner of ungodly things until a reaper pops it out. George finds out about the loophole and uses it on her next reap, to terrible consequences.

This week, we find out there's a death loophole. If you don't show up to your appointment, your appointment gets rescheduled. So, in case you're keeping score, if the person shows up to the appointment but a reaper prevents them from dying, their soul rots inside of them. See, because she made J.P. Monroe miss his appointment, many, many people die due to his faulty AbSolver product. This pisses off all the people who died, Rube and the gravelings who attack George in her apartment. She eventually sees how much of a mistake she's made, with all the dead souls filling Der Waffle Haus.

Meanwhile, Mason makes the wise decision to smuggle drugs internally and spends the majority of the episode in a great deal of pain and high out of his mind. Roxie asks him if he's high, to which he replies, "I've got illegals in my bottom." She says, "Why do you do this to yourself?" and he shakes his head and whimpers. We also find out Roxie made someone miss their appointment once. J.H. Arnold, a nice man who offered Roxie candy when she wrote him a parking ticket.

Things aren't so great at the Lass house. Joy finds a dead bird in a box in Reggie's room, which leads her to confront Reggie. In an emotional moment, Joy tells Reggie she's tired and doesn't like where they seem to be headed. Joy wants her to get involved in some sort of activity and we see Joy and Reggie in a taxidermy class. At least Joy's trying.

Rube tries to lure the mysterious figure that drops off the appointments into his apartment with a home cooked meal. It doesn't work but it gives us a closer glimpse into Rube's own life, er, afterlife.

    Favorite quotes:

Mason, to George: "I think you're marvelous."
Rube: "This is not your role model."

Mason, to George, about Rube: "Heed his advice, and stay on his good side. He's like a volcano, George, he erupts and he spews lava on all the little villages, they run around and, they run around for their lives. But, you know, he stops, and you can go back to the safety of your own home."
