This episode covered something rarely seen on TV. It was all about how, when women are together a lot, their menstrual cycles happen at the same time. Of course it was exaggerated and over-the-top as Popular always did things, but very funny.
This episode starts out with the girl in class and having to write down their deepest, darkest, most shameful secret. Then they threw them in the classroom trash, as a symbol to let the secret go. But, of course, sneaky Nicole (popular cheerleader) took them out of the trash and kept them.

This episode covered something rarely seen on TV. It was all about how, when women are together a lot, their menstrual cycles happen at the same time. Of course it was exaggerated and over-the-top as Popular always did things, but very funny.
This episode starts out with the girl in class and having to write down their deepest, darkest, most shameful secret. Then they threw them in the classroom trash, as a symbol to let the secret go. But, of course, sneaky Nicole (popular cheerleader) took them out of the trash and kept them.
Now, the girls are all having "that time of the month" and the guys are scared! Josh, Harrison and Sugar are sitting at the lunch table, witnessing the girls pick petty things to b**ch about each other and decide to fight after school. So the guys go to Ms. Glass(teacher) to find out about why the girls act this way each month. The guys are clueless!
Harrison, Josh and Sugar trick the girls to meet in the "Novak" (which is the girls restroom). Once the girls are in the bathroom, the door is locked (by the boys) from the outside. The girls are 'caged' like animals (too funny)and start to cat-fight.They all start to take "Lady Time" pills , which are menstrual pills.
Nicole decides to pull out the secrets from class they had earlier, and writes them in lipstick on the mirrors. Each girl claims whose secret is theirs and explains it.
Secret # 1: "They call me Quack"
This belonged to Mary Cherry. She says she had webbed hands and feet and needed 12 operations to correct it. But the feet are still webbed....she shows them... everyone grosses out!
Secret #2: "I've questioned my sexuality"
This belonged to Lily. She said about 4 months ago she had the chance to lose her virginity but chickened out. She said she just wasn't interested. She told Carmen and they talked about how maybe she liked women instead. They kissed. Lily said she still doesn't know how she feels. Carmen was mad that now everyone knows and feels betrayed.
Secret # 3: "I did it again"
This secret belonged to Brooke. She talked about how Josh came over after the Sadie Hawkins dance and they started making out (they had broken up previously). He thought they were getting back together, but she said no and that they had to stop doing this(re-bound making-out). When this was revealed, Sam said that on that same night Josh talked to her in the kitchen.One thing led to another and she and Josh kissed. But Sam stopped him and said Brooke doesn't deserve this and that she and Josh don't really have anything in common. Brooke thanked her for not going over the line.
Secret # 4: "I am dating Josh Ford"
This belonged to the last person everyone expected...Carmen. Carmen said she was taking a public speaking class and they got together. They talked about a lot of things. Josh told her things that nobody else understood about him. So he then asked her out. They were to go out this night.
Secret # 5: "I slept with Josh Ford"
This belonged to Nicole.(no surprise there, right?) She went to comfort Josh when he broke up with Brooke. But she was jealous of being 2nd place to Brooke so she seduced him!
Now I don't about you, but this Josh sure got around, am I right? But if you ask me...Harrison is the one that's the cutie!
Now , all this time, the guys were in Ms. Glass's classroom finding things out about her. But finally Josh got out of there and went into the restroom to finally free the girls. But the girls now knowing Josh has been with 4 of them lately....decide to take him hostage. So, now he has locked himself in one of the stalls while the girls are calling him "man-ho". Harrison then comes into the "Novak" and they get him into a stall. The girls see the door is now open and feel the whole experience was quite cathartic. They all leave to get dinner, but Brooke says she never wants to talk to Nicole again.
They lock Harrison and Josh in the restroom!
Did you ever notice how late these kids stay in school... I mean, late at night!
The best part of this DVD is that you can listen to this episode with the commentary on. They talk about how all the girls were laughing during the PMS-ing fight scenes. It is quite funny to hear. The director loved having Mary Cherry use her hands a lot during scenes and putting extra syllables in words.
