My name is Faye. I live in a small city outside of Detroit, Michigan. I’m 21 years old and besides my love for television, I have a very strong love for music and books. Some of my music interests include Jon McLaughlin (you might know him from the Enchanted soundtrack singing “So Close”), Justin Timberlake, *NSync (always and forever), Mandy Moore, and Carrie Underwood…just to name a few. I’m also an avid reader currently devouring The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books. But enough about that…

I have two cats whom I love greatly, Sushi and Sadie. They are best friends and can always make me smile. I’m a 4th year college student at Wayne State University studying to become a Secondary Education Teacher in History and Earth Science. In my free time, besides reading, listening to music, and watching television, my favorite things to do include spending time with my family and closest friends. I also enjoy traveling so there are many vacations in my future!

I volunteered to write about Desperate Housewives simply because I love the show. It’s actually a funny story about how I came to like the show. I used to hate it. When my sister watched it, all I would think was “this is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen” and I would walk out of the room and not give it a chance. When I started working at Hollywood Video last year, I decided to rent the first two seasons, and within 2 weeks, I was hooked. I started watching it on television religiously and to this day, I cannot stop. I’ve even named my iPod Mike Delfino!
