Georgina heads down a busy street trying to check-in with Serena who is obviously avoiding her calls. Bad move S! Don’t mess with the mighty G. Dan talks to Rufus about a fight he and Serena are having. Why is this boy going to his dad about girl issues? Guys don’t do that. Do they? Nate finds Vanessa at the coffee shop heading out to help Rufus as his “roadie.” She asks Nate when are they going to have their real date. He has to bail when he gets mysterious call. He promises her he will meet up with her at Rufus’ concert.

Dan asks Chuck if he’s seen Serena. They have words and Chuck gets a mystery call too. Chuck gets into an elevator with Nate. They’re still on bad terms because of the whole “Chuck slept with Blair” thing. Tension is awesome! They go to Blair’s house and wait. I think Blair has called them together to form an intervention to help Serena.

Dan gets a call from Serena’s cell. It’s Serena’s BFF4ever a nameless bartender who tells Dan, S has been drunk off her rich behind A LOT lately. Blair enters her apartment to find Nate and Chuck waiting. She needs their help. A pan to the elevator shows Serena flopped on the ground hung over out of her mind. They get her into the shower and food to combat the hang over blues.

Vanessa helps Rufus unload his equipment as a poster from his rock glory days is hung on the venue he is performing at. Sigh! Poor Rufus…a washed up music star with messed up kids. That’s the life isn’t it? Dan enters Blair’s. He’s still looking for Serena. Blair tells Dan that Serena doesn’t want to see him. He yells and Serena comes downstairs, but can’t tell him what’s wrong. So because this is Gossip Girl, boys and girls, to make him leave she tells him she slept with someone else. As Dan storms off he gets a call from Georgina who wants to see him. Blair’s maid calls Lily to tell her that Serena is back to her old ways before she “went away.” Lily reacts by going through her daughter’s stuff and finds the naughty tape.

Blair and company try to get Serena to spill what happened. Serena says that Georgina has been blackmailing her. She goes on to recount the night at the wedding where she and Nate had sex on the bar (you know those OMFG posters?!). During the flashback, she has sex, leaves the wedding, and heads over to Georgina’s.

Georgina, Serena and random boy talk on a bed. Random boy begins to make-out with Serena. She doesn’t want to have sex, so instead she wants to do coke. Much better Serena, much better idea. Um. No! Random boy does the first round of coke and begins to seize. Georgina tells Serena they have to split because they would get arrested for all the drugs. They split, but Serena comes back to see random boy being removed from the building in a body bag. So, is it me or did she not “technically” kill someone?

They crew heads to Lily’s wedding party. Lily sees Serena and blasts her for the tape. Dan and Georgina go to Rufus’ band check to wish him luck. They also meet Lisa Loeb, you know that singer from the 90s. Blair goes to Lily to beg her not to send Serena away. Nate calls Blair to tell her that Georgina is at the concert with Dan. Blair tells him she’s coming. Chuck is also in revenge mode. Lily takes Serena to the house of the boy who died. Lily wants Serena to move on.

It’s concert time! Vanessa confronts Georgina about her lie as Sarah. Georgina takes off not ready to say what’s going on. Serena and Lily leave the house of the dead boy. Serena feels awful, but Lily is honestly trying to make Serena feel better. It’s a nice moment not full of sex and drugs for once.

Georgina tells Dan that an “ex-boyfriend” was trying to hunt her down, which is why she changed her name. Liar, liar pants on fire! She then tells Dan she’s been falling for him. He takes her by the hand and they leave the concert. Rufus rocks out. I mean really rocks out. Vanessa tells the crew that Georgina left and probably with Dan. Georgina calls Serena and tells her she’s going to have sex with Dan…ugh she then kisses him and he really kisses her back. All I can say is I totally buy Michelle T as evil. Does anyone else completely love her? Or despise her?

  2. I love Michelle T as evil - even more than I loved her as The Key in Buffy.

oh and that convo between Nate, Chuck and Blair when Blair made the comment like "we're like the Breakfast Club without judgement" or something - THAT was awesomesauce!

Lots of good dialogue and drama. And no Jenny which is a welcome reflief after last week.
