The show opens with Francine trying to console her friend Julie, who’s CIA husband has been missing for weeks. Francine finds out during the conversation that her husband used to tell her everything and was open and honest with her all the time – exactly the opposite of Stan.
Francine demands that Stan be open and honest with her as well and she and Roger (posing as a psychologist) eventually crack Stan and get him to share more. Stan swings a little too far in the other direction and admits to Francine that he killed Greg, Julie’s husband. The CIA ordered the hit because Greg was a “blabbermouth” and told his wife all the top secret information he was supposed to keep classified.
Stan goes on a mission and Francine accidently tells Julie that Stan killer her husband. Francine can’t let the CIA found out that Stan is also a blabbermouth so she kidnaps Julie and ties her up in the basement. She tries to contact Stan, but he’s on a remote island and there’s a monkey trying to steal his plum so he’s no help. Roger steps in and convinces Julie to hang herself.
Stan shows up and saves Julie just in time. He admits the whole thing was just a plan he concocted to keep Francine from bugging him about being open and honest. He didn’t’ really kill Greg. Greg just moved to the Philipines so he could remarry he was tired of Julie bugging him to be open and honest with her all the time.
Over in the B story there’s an actual bee story. Hayley kills Steve’s queen bee from his science project and Steve vows to get revenge. Eventually he tries to get his hive to attack Haley while dressed as a giant queen bee but the bees swarm him instead while Hayley continues to sunbathe on the other side of the pool.
