For those of you that were curious about David Letterman's beard, here you go!Dave opened his show by coming out with dancers hoisting WGA Strike Signs and sending his love and support out to the striking writers.
Letterman's World Wide Pants made a deal with the WGA so that his show, and Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, can use the professional writers.

How wonderful to have Dave back on the air, and how great he suggested he'd shave the beard off on the air ... the sooner the better. Robin Williams had great quips ("hey, grandad") - a gray beard makes a man look older. Period!
