It’s Jenny D and Supernatural redeemed themselves in my eyes last night. I loved this episode that took fairy tales and turned them into murder. What a demented and fun idea.

It all starts off with the three little pigs. Three brothers in the house building business in, get this, “Once Upon a Time” estates. Haha, that is good. The big bad wolf killed two of them, but he was not a wolf at all, he was just a regular guy. Dean and Sam interview the living brother. They are clueless to what happened.
Next comes Hansel and Gretel. A couple get lost in the woods and find a house with a nice old lady. She invites them in for pie and coffee and poisons them. The craziness of the old woman hacking the husband with a kitchen knife was unbelievable. Once again with the gore. They have REALLY stepped it up this season. The woman gets away and sees a little girl about eight with pale skin and dark hair outside the window. Sound familiar? Snow White of course, but we will get to that later.

They inverview the woman in the hospital and look in the house to see if it could be supernatural in nature. The only sulphur the found was by the window where the woman saw the little girl. They look into missing children in the area and come up with nothing.

Then Sam gets an idea. What if the murders are related to fairy tales. Of course Dean thinks he is nuts, but it is starting to make sense. The only thing missing is why this is happening and what connection they have.

As they stood there talking they noticed a pumpkin and mouse on a front step. They go to check it out because of the Cinderella connection and sure enough a girl was chained to the stove. She said her step mother went nuts and started beating her. The only thing they found though was the little girl who was pale with dark hair. They made the connection with Snow White, but who was she really?

They find out that the doctor that they have been talking to at the hospital has a daughter that he has been taking care of. She has been in the hospital since she was poisoned when she was 8. His wife found her poisoned by bleach and she has been in a coma ever since then. They ask if she was a step mother and he said yes. They found their Snow White! Sure enough, his daughter had dark hair and pale skin and was killing people by way of the fairy tales her father is reading to her.

When they got to the hospital, the doctor was reading Little Red Riding Hood. While they were talking to the doctor, the Big Bad Wolf was attacking Grandma, and stealing her van. Off he went to find Little Red Riding Hood at school. Dean and Sam find out about an old woman who was attacked. They find out her next of kin was a little girl, so Dean go to Grandma’s house to stop the big bad wolf. He finds the little girl and the “Wolf”.

In the mean time, Sam goes to talk to the doctor about what this daughter is doing. He has a hard time believing this could be happening. He has an even harder time believing that his wife poisoned her. He finally believes him and tells his daughter he is ready to listen to her. As he watches her dies, the “Wolf” snaps out of it just as Dean is about to stab him with scissors. He is confused. It is over.
Sam wants to go after the crossroads demon now that they have the colt. Once again, Dean says no. While Dean is sleeping that night, Sam goes to the crossroads demon and tells her that is she does not let Dean live, he would kill her. She explains that she cannot do anything to help him, she just works for someone who owns Dean’s soul now. Sam is mad and even though she cannot do anything to help, he kills her anyone. Once again, proving we are not dealing with the same Sam.

I give this episode an A! It was very good and everyone knows the stories they used. See you next week for a Ghost Ship episode.
