Tom Tucker and Ollie the weatherman catch us up from last week. Stewie killed Lois. Peter got blamed. Peter went to court. Lois came back. She wasn’t really dead.

Lois tells the courtroom that Stewie tried to kill her. She was rescued by an amorous Mer-man who had the head of a fish and the legs of a man. She would have been willing to have sex with him if he was the other way around, but then he would have fish genitalia so it would be impossible. She had amnesia and didn’t remember anything about the assassination attempt. She hooked up with some skin heads and when she told them they were being anti-semitic they hit her over the head and she regained all her memories. The courtroom is awed by her story and Stewie has escaped.

There’s a huge man hunt for Stewie but he’s nowhere to be found. Nobody thought to look back on Spooner Street, however, but that’s where Stewie was hiding. The family comes home and is taken hostage by him at gunpoint. Stewie kills Cleveland and takes off with Brian as a hostage. He has time for a quick American Idol tryout on the road.

Back home the tied up Griffins discuss starting a rumor about Rob Schneider hiring day laborers at the Home Depot to come to his house and choke him in the shower when Chris reveals that his hands have been untied the whole time and that he was just enjoying the last 14 hours of family time. They get untied and find Stewie’s secret cache of weapons in his hidden bunker.

Stewie and Brian break into the CIA headquarters to Stewie can take control of all the electricity in the world. They are nearly foiled by Stan Smith (American Dad) and his boss Mr. Bullock (Patrick Stewart) but manage to get the drop on them and cut off all the power in the entire country.

When the power goes out, Katie Holmes-Cruise realizes that she’s no longer trapped by the electric force field around their house. She also frees the half naked men that Tom has caged up in the back yard before escaping.

Stewie becomes president of the world and makes a bunch of random laws, but when Lois sees him on TV she goes all Rambo, gearing up in Stewie’s weapons bunker. She shows up the White House and there’s an epic battle that almost rivals Peter’s fight with that chicken. Stewie is about to kill Lois for good this time when he’s shot in the head by Peter who just wants to use Lethal Weapon catch phrases.

Of course it’s not a dream. Who would stoop so low as to make these episodes a dream sequence? No, it’s not a dream, it’s all been a computer simulation that Stewie was running since Brian told him he’d never have the guys to kill Lois for real last week. Brain thinks that if people had somehow managed to watch the simulation that they would be disappointed that the whole thing wasn’t real, but Stewie says at least it didn’t end like the Sopranos when the screen cut to black in mid-sent

4 stars out of 5 stars.
