Podcasts Are So Easy, Cavemen Can Do It

The ABC Television Network will be launching “Cavetalk” -- the first official “Cavemen” video podcast series -- on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18. All podcasts will be available on both ABC.com and Apple’s iTunes.

Since the dawn of time, cavemen – and cavewomen – have been overlooked and their knowledge underestimated. To set the record straight, cavemen spokespersons Joel, Nick and Andy have agreed to answer questions that have been perplexing the “sapes” for millenniums. And to prove that cavepeople are more than just the group you run into at the local organic grocery store, they’ve decided to tackle these questions in the form of a video podcast on the internet, entitled “Cavetalk” – yes, they are proficient on both Mac and pc!

The “Cavetalk” video podcasts will be available for download on the official “Cavemen” website at abc.com and on Apple’s iTunes. Users will be able to download the podcasts on both sites at no cost. Podcasts will remain available on each site for an unspecified time.

A podcast is the distribution of audio and/or video files for download. You can then see and/or/hear the podcast whenever you want from your computer or a portable media player.

“Cavemen,” which premieres on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network, stars Bill English as Joel, Nick Kroll as Nick, Sam Huntington as Andy, Kaitlin Doubleday as Kate, Stephanie Lemelin as Thorne and Julie White as Leslie.

The series is based in part upon characters from the GEICO commercials by The Martin Agency. “Cavemen” was developed by Josh Gordon & Will Speck (directors of “Blades of Glory”) and Joe Lawson. Bill Martin & Mike Schiff (“Grounded for Life,” “3rd Rock from the Sun”), Gordon & Speck, Daniel Rappaport (“Office Space”) & Guymon Casady serve as executive producers. “Cavemen” is from ABC Studios.
