The national contest for the "official" Springfield for "The Simpsons" is over.

After 109,582 votes, Springfield, Vermont was named the winner!

The prize? Springfield, VT will have the official premeire of 20th Century Fox's "The Simpsons Movie" on July 21st with "the filmmakers on hand to walk the yellow carpet."
