Cal Ripken Jr. and Tony Gwynn took their place in baseball's shrine Sunday, saluted as much for their Hall of Fame careers as their character off the field.
I was a huge fan of both of these players. They exemplified the game of baseball and they are deservedly now enshrined with the rest of the greats!
Congrats to Cal and Tony!
