New Quiz Added on 6/29

Updated FAQ on 6/29

A new Quiz is on the offical Convention page!

The official site now has some FAQs and New Video!

The one we're all dying for is:

Who's coming?
We will do our best invite as many cast members as we can, though much of that is out of our control. Different actors have different contracts, schedules, etc. Many members of the cast have movies and other obligations. We can, however, tell you that the convention is scheduled during a break in production, so we do know there's no conflict with the show itself!

MAY 19TH ANNOUNCEMENT DAY INFO

I've been in contact with organizers in Scranton and they have a big announcement coming on Saturday, May 19th about the Convention!

The Electric City online magazine will update as well!!

*NEW*Just got word that the official website for the Convention in Scranton will be live this Saturday! Right now the link doesn't work, but check it again after 10 am on Saturday.
www.theofficeconvention.com
According to my source in Scranton: "It'll be the center for information about the convention and updates on the events we'll be having all summer long leading up to the convention."

We're glad to announce there will be outdoor entertainment during the 1-4 p.m. autograph signing. The Sw!ms and The Five Percent will play across the street from the Mall at Steamtown, and keep your eyes peeled for a special guest.

UPDATE:We're taking the party to the streets. As we announced earlier this week, local rockers The Sw!ms and The Five Percent (plus a special guest) will perform outside the Mall at Steamtown for The Office fans waiting in line for the 1-4 p.m. autograph signing. But with big crowds expected, the city will be closing Lackawanna Avenue between Wyoming and Franklin avenues.

Listen to Rock 107's promo!

May 19th is going to be huge for Scranton as they host Angela Kinsey ("Angela") and Brian Baumgartner ("Kevin")from "The Office" in a few events!

There is a VIP Breakfast with the celebrities from 9am-11am in the Grand Ballroom of the Radisson in Scranton. The cost is $50/person and the proceeds go towards the convention! This is also when they hope to announce the dates of the convention! You must RSVP for the VIP Breakfast by Tuesday May 15th at 5pm. You can contact the Lackawanna County Visitor's and Covention Bureau at 1-800-22-WELCOME (press 5) or email them at info@visitnepa.org.

Then Angela and Brian will be off to The Mall at Steamtown's Center Court where they will have an autograph session from 1pm-4pm. The first person who prints out TheTwoCents logo and gets either/both of them to sign it and sends me a picture will get a TheTwoCents mug!! The next 4 submissions will get magnets!

The final event of the day is called "Raising the Roof #3" and it's a rooftop party for Angela and Brian. This runs from 5:30-8:00pm. On top of the Medallion Parking Garage, located at the corner of Adams and Spruce streets in Scranton. Admission to the Rooftop party is $20 and includes cocktails, food from downtown restaurants, and live tunes by Music for Models. Note: This is a 21 and over party.

*NEW* Here's the new flyer for the Rooftop Party!

So if you're in the Scranton area - get out there and enjoy it!! I expect full reports from ANYONE who goes!!
