Entertainment Weekly's website has some fun photo lists recently and, as I always do, I thought I would share them with you fine people!
First up is EW's list of "Current (and Future) Kings of Comedy". Current kings include Will Farrell, Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller while the future looks bright with Steve Carell (watch The Office tonight at 8:30!), Will Arnett (go buy the Arrested Developement DVDs) and Seth Rogen (Freaks and Geeks guy is hilarious in 40 Year Old Virgin). I'm a big fan of Rogen because he comes across on the screen extremely effortlessly.
Then we have the EW list of "Cheesy Ballads". Come on, you know you turn the volume up and sing in the car when you hear "Glory of Love" from The Karate Kid 2 or Phil Collins' "Against All Odds"! And if you don't shed a tear when you hear "Somewhere Out There" from that American Tale movie, you're made of stone! It's a baby mouse trying to find his family!!
Lastly they have a short gallery of people who take great turns in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". Where else will you get a close up of Bonnie Wright as Ginny Weasley?
Who do you think is the next "King" of comedy? What song are you most embarassed that you CRANK the stereo and sing along with? (I'll tell you mine, if you tell me yours. Hint - it rhymes with A Noment Mike Hiss.)
