Hart, best known for his comic strip "B.C." died Saturday at the age of 76. His wife stated that he had a stroke and passed away at his drawing board.

Hart was also the co-creator of "The Wizard of Id".

According to Richard Newcombe, founder and president of Creators Syndicate, both B.C. and The Wizard of Id will continue on with family members and archived drawings helping make it happen.
