It's the most WONDERFUL time of the year...

They are back ladies and gentlemen! The boys of summer! My New York Yankees! Today was the first full Spring Training game in Florida and the YES network broadcast the game.

It was so fun to watch. Sure, the stadium is smaller, there are palm trees everywhere and the regulars only play for 3 innings. But there was Damon hitting a leadoff Homer, and Giambi hitting a homerun with Jeter waiting at home plate to give his congrats (left).

There's just something about the game of baseball that makes me happy. It's normalcy. It's something I watch with friends, with family or by myself and enjoy equally with all.

Live or on TV - it's the same. It's Yankees baseball and it's BACK!

Do you watch baseball? All 162 games or when you feel like it? Do you root, root, root for the Yankees or does someone else make it happen for you?

  1. Silly Yankees fan. When will you ever learn? The 20th century was your time. Get used to a lot of this in the coming years: http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/6524122?MSNHPHMA&GT1=9232
