... Starbuck! Yup, Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica brought home the win in the Chicago Tribune's "Best Character on Television" contest.

Captain Thrace defeated in order: Michael Scott (The Office), Betty Suarez (Ugly Betty), Homer Simpson (The Simpsons) in the Final Four, and lastly took out Jack Bauer (24) by a vote of 3061-777. Jack has never lost a fight this bad in his life... and in most of them he ends up getting shot!

Some heated battles in the tournament included:
Veronica Mars (same) def. Stewie Griffin (Family Guy)
Sawyer (Lost) def. Barney (How I Met Your Mother)
then Sawyer went on to defeat Hiro (Heroes)
Dwight Schrute (The Office) def Tony Soprano (The Sopranos)
Jack Donaghy (30 Rock) def Ari Gold (Entourage) is a big upset!

The final four pitted Starbuck vs Homer and Jack Bauer vs Jack Donaghy.

Donaghy had his Cinderella Story smashed by the man who makes Chuck Norris afraid.
