FOX Premieres Free on iTunes

Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) and Apple today announced that for the first time ever, series and season premiere episodes of FOX’s fall series will be available free on the iTunes Store beginning this week. Series include the debuts of new shows BACK TO YOU, KITCHEN NIGHTMARES and K-VILLE, as well as returning favorites PRISON BREAK, BONES, AMERICAN DAD and ’TIL DEATH. These FOX premieres will be available free on iTunes (www.itunes.com) beginning the day after their respective launches for two weeks.

“iTunes customers are going to love being able to purchase new and returning FOX shows on the iTunes Store,” said Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president of iTunes. “We're thrilled FOX decided to kick off the fall season with such an incredible promotion on iTunes.”

“Our series have been a hit on the iTunes Store since debuting last year,” said William Bradford, senior vice president, content strategy for FOX. “These great premieres are available for free on iTunes for our fans to watch on iPods and iPhones – an incredibly innovative way to catch broadcasts they may have missed on-air.”

Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) is a unit of News Corporation. FOX finished the 2006-2007 season as the No. 1 network for the third consecutive year among Adult 18-49 viewers, while continuing to dominate all network competition in the more targeted Adults 18-34 and Teen demographics. FOX airs 15 hours of primetime programming a week as well as late night entertainment programming, major sports and Sunday morning news.

Meanwhile, Lincoln searches for a missing Sara and receives troubling news about LJ on “Orientación,” the season premiere episode of PRISON BREAK.
Tom R's Two Cents - We Last Saw: Michael Scofield was confined to Sona Prison in Central America. Theodore Bagwell, Brad Bellick and Alex Mahone are about to join him. Cleared of all charges, Lincoln Burrows and Sara Tancredi may be the ones to break Michael out, while Fernando Sucre needs Bellick free to find his beloved Maricruz.
What We Hope To See: Scofield and Mahone are so evenly matched as adversaries, so it will be interesting to see how they work as a team. Sucre needs to free Bellick. More Maricruz! After everything Bagwell has been through so far, we’d all love to see and epic end to the character. The conspiracy angle should run its course this season.

Prison Break & K-Ville Sneak Peeks on the Web!

In advance of the Sept. 17 launch of its Fall Monday-night lineup, FOX will offer the entire series premiere episode of new drama series K-VILLE, as well as the first 17 minutes of the highly anticipated Season Three premiere of PRISON BREAK. These will be made available for streaming across 200 Internet portals and websites for a limited time, beginning today.

Both the series premiere of K-VILLE, which features introductions from stars Anthony Anderson and Cole Hauser, and the “first look” at the third season premiere of PRISON BREAK, will be commercial-free and available at no charge to viewers and fans across multiple portals and websites, including the network’s own official site FOX.com, as well as AOL.com, Yahoo!, TVGuide.com and IGN.com, among others.

“It is critical that we embrace the Internet as a distributed medium that promotes engagement with users, wherever they are on the Web,” said FOX’s William Bradford , Senior Vice President, Content Strategy. “This approach reinforces the importance of involving fans to assist with marketing the show through word of mouth and discussion forums across the Internet.”
