The shock didn’t come in the elimination — oh no. It came in who ended up almost being voted off — Adam Lambert. You know, the heir apparent of S8. Fourth. Not first. Not second. Not third. Fourth.
And that’s just not right.
Ryan started off with his “pick one side” that he usually does when it’s down to seven (ah, but this year, at the Top Seven, two were eliminated, so he couldn’t pull this trick). The groups were Kris Allen and Matt Giraud, then Allison Iraheta and Danny Gokey. Then Ryan had Adam pick a group, because he’s the frontrunner (or is he?) and he chose Allison and Danny.
Then Ryan put Adam in with Kris and Matt and calls it the B3. You have got to be kidding — Adam in the bottom three? Just. Not. Possible. Then Kris is safe. Kris over Adam?
But thank goodness, it’s Matt who is going home. But he takes with him many fans as well as the honor of receiving the “Judge’s Save” this year. Not bad door parting gifts.
We were also treated to performances by Natalie Cole, S5 winner Taylor Hicks and this week’s mentor, Jamie Foxx. Best part of the night had to be the video of the idols having a food fight. Probably not impromptu, but still funny nevertheless, right?
Next week is Rock Week. I think that Adam and Allyson are going to have the edge here. What do you think? Did the right person go home? How did Adam land in the B2???? What’s your Two Cents?
Don't get so excited!!It was all rigged to put Adam up, because they want him to win and this way they think people will freak out and start voting for him, because now they will not think he is so safe! Nothing is REAL anymore! Everything is ALWAYS Rigged!
