Chuck is finally tasked with some important spy work. He’s called upon by the powers that be to track a deadly Asian man-eater. Of course, by powers that be I don’t mean the National Security Agency, The Central Intelligence Agency or even the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I mean Jeff and Lester. And by deadly Asian man-eater, I mean Anna Wu.

It seems, the recently dumped Morgan has called on his Spy More buddies to stalk Anna and her new boyfriend, who sets off Chuck’s Intersect. Anna’s new beau, Jason Wang, is tied up with the Triad gang. General Grandma tells Chuck to use his friendship with Anna to gather some intel on the Triads activities. Chuck is reluctant to cozy up with Anna because he’s worried that his best friend Morgan would think he was taking her side. Oh and Chuck steals a bottle of mint-flavored knock out spray from the Castle’s new supply shipment. I wonder what he wants that for?

Awesome and Ellie are planning their wedding, and Awesome tasks Chuck with helping him find a band. You know a busy doctor doesn’t have time that kind of thing, and besides if Chuck is not in charge of finding the band how can we ever find out about Jeff and Lester’s band: Jeffster!?

Chuck, reluctantly, asks Anna if she’s like to double date with Sarah and her new boyfriend and Anna agrees and invites them to Jason Wang’s fancy car show. Chuck decides that if he’s going to hang out with Anna, he’ll use the time to try and convince her that Morgan is the right man for her.

Sarah and Chuck head to the party, and while they’re inside trying to spy on Jason Wang and convince Anna to get back together with Morgan, Morgan is outside in Jeff’s van equipped with all the spy gear Jeff could afford. Turns out that 80 percent of Jeff’s interactions with women are unbeknownst to the ladies. Shocking? Not as shocking as the 20 percent who know Jeff is there. Morgan, of course, spots Chuck and Sarah hanging out with Anna.

Ellie calls the Spy More for some Chuck support, but he’s not there. Jeff and Lester realize it’s their chance to audition Jeffster! and they head over to her place. Jeff is gung-ho but Lester blows the audition and the band doesn’t perform.

Back the car party, a group of tough thugs enter and Chuck flashes, seeing all their Triad code names and rap sheets. Chuck plants a bug on a shipping container they seem interested in, but screws up and puts the Traid on alert for someone spying on them. Of course, they don’t find Chuck or even Casey – who is outside in a spy van of his own. They catch Morgan. The gang is about to kill Morgan, and Chuck has to rescue him by telling them that he’s a loser and he’s been stalking Anna. The Triad decides to let him go. Morgan is devastated, but alive. Back inside, they find the bug Chuck planted however and decide that Morgan was more than a stalker.

Next day, Morgan is pissed at Chuck, who tries to explain that it was all he could think of to save him. Chuck is pissed at Sarah for making him choose the mission over his best friend. Sarah is more concerned about the contents of that shipping container the Triad seemed so interested in at Jason Wang’s car show.

The Triad show up at Spy More looking for Morgan. Morgan decides now is the time to step out of Chuck’s shadow and fight his own battles, but Chuck knocks him out with the mint-flavored knock out spray and tries to sneak him out of the store in a home theater box. Chuck is stopped mid-store by Anna who shows Chuck her boyfriend Jason Wang on television. Chuck flashes on the Chinese ambassador on TV with Jason and realizes that his life is in danger and the shipping container was an probably some kind of explosive meant to kill him.

Chuck, Sarah and Casey all take off to rescue the ambassador. Of course, as soon as they are all gone. The Triad find Morgan asleep in the home theater box and grab him. Across town, Chuck spots them unloading the shipping container and arming the bomb inside a fancy Rolls Royce that was sent to the ambassador. As he watches, the Triad pull up and load the still-sleeping Morgan in the trunk of the car. Two birds. One stone.

Sarah tangles with the female Triad gang member while Casey and Chuck try to catch up with the ambassador who’s driven off in the ticking time bomb car. Casey jumps on the hood of the Nerd Herder and Chuck opens a window to let him in. Casey immediately takes control of the car with a remote control he has hidden in the glove compartment.

Sarah finally subdues the Triad girl and takes off in another car to catch Chuck and Casey, who have finally stopped the ambassador long enough for Chuck to grab the bomb and drive off. Casey and Sarah watch as Chuck’s car drives away and then immediately explodes.

Of course, Chuck was using the remote control to drive the car and he wasn’t killed in the explosion. Back at the Spy More, Chuck wakes Morgan, who thinks he fainted in fear of facing the thugs on his own.

Awesome and Ellie show up and the Spy More and Jeff and Lester realize it’s their last chance at an audition. Jeffster! takes the stage and perform a cover of Toto’s Africa.

Of course, Jeffster! will never play the Awesome/Ellie wedding, but let the boys have their fun while they can.
