I didn’t catch any Lethal Weapon references in this episode, but I am getting too old for this s*^t. Remember Cole from last week? He was kidnapped by Fulcrum, at the end of the previous episode, and tonight we see him being tortured. Fulcrum wants to know the identity of the Intersect.

Over at the Spy More, the green shirts and nerd herd make fun of Morgan because his mom is banging Big Mike. Morgan takes it in stride because he knows he is going to move in with Chuck soon. Casey drags Chuck to the Castle before Chuck has a chance to tell Morgan he can’t share an apartment because he’s living with Sarah now. The alarms all sound and it looks as if there’s a security breach, but it’s just Cole – who’s escaped from Fulcrum and found his way back to base although he looks like he’s been through the ringer.

Cole and Sarah continue their mutual adoration society while upstairs, Anna thinks that Morgan wants to move in with her, because she found the lease in Morgan’s fax machine.
Lester and Jeff tell Morgan if he wants to move in with Chuck, he’ll have to make himself as unappealing as possible to Anna. Morgan should have no problem doing that on his own, but Lester and Jeff are experts.

General Grandma dials up the gang and lays out the next mission for Sarah and Casey. The agents are to track down a Fulcrum agent named Perseus. Cole has some intel to add, since he was undercover with Fulcrum prior to getting tangled up with Chuck, Casey and Sarah. Turns out, Perseus is supposed to be attending a party at the Swiss embassy.
General Grandma arranges for Casey and Sarah to attend the party, while Chuck and Cole monitor from the van. Chuck flashes on Robert Picardo. Of course, if you spot Robert Picardo at your party you’d probably flash too. The guy’s been on every show ever. Here, though, he’s Howard Busgang (Perseus) the designer of the original Intersect.

Once Chuck clues Sarah and Casey in on Busgang’s identity, they move in, but have their cameras and audio transmitters blocked by a Fulcrum jamming device. Cole senses danger (shocking!) and give’s Chuck a gun and they decide to run to the rescue.

Chuck climbs through a window and spots Casey and Sarah. Cole tells Chuck to attack, but Chuck warns Cole that he’s never even held a gun before. Chuck tries to surprise the agents, but fumbles the gun, which fires and hits Busgang in the leg. Casey and Sarah capitalize on the distraction and break free. Sarah goes after one of the Fulcrum agents, but they get the drop on her and Cole has to rush in and put himself between her and a bullet that’s heading straight for her. Busgang escapes. Chuck thinks he’s a hero for having his ankle twisted during the mission – until he sees that Cole took a bullet in order to protect Sarah.

Back at the Castle, General Grandma has some more info on Busgang. Chuck realizes that if Busgang created the Intersect, perhaps he can get it out of his head and return him to his normal life.

Over in the b-story, Morgan tries to creep Anna out with some crazy new activities and rules for when they live together: Wii tennis night, something weird about cheese, etc. Anna doesn’t care. She’s happy (for some reason) to be moving in with Morgan.

At Buy More, Morgan gives Anna a set of rules that she needs to agree to before they move in together. He gives Anna a document titled Morganuptials. Anna sees that she can't have pets. Anna tells Morgan that she loves him and says that she will sign the agreement. Chuck meets with Morgan and tells him that they need to talk. Lester and Jeff tell Chuck that they are trying to repulse Anna. Chuck asks Morgan why he is trying to repulse Anna and Morgan says that he is just testing her. Chuck tells Morgan that he is lucky to have Anna.

Back home, Chuck can’t get his injured ankle past his doctor sister and she and Awesome drag him to the hospital. At the hospital, Chuck finds Busgang trying to have the bullet from Chuck’s gun removed on the down low. Chuck radios Casey but tries to catch Busgang himself so he can ask about the Intersect. Chuck doesn’t get far, however, before Fulcrum agents spot him following Busgang.

Chuck tails Busgang into an office building and uses his nerd herd credentials to get past security. Once he’s inside, Fulcrum agents show up, but they use their guns to get past the security check point. Chuck finds Busgang’s lab but doesn’t spot the man, probably because he’s behind him with a gun. Chuck tells Busgang he knows about the Intersect and flashes on some documents he sees in the lab. Something about “Orion.” Busgang recognizes the “flash” phenomenon and realizes that Chuck is the Intersect. Chuck asks if there might be any way to remove the Intersect, and Busgang explains that Orion is the code name for a person, like he was code-named Perseus. If anyone can remove the Intersect from Chuck’s head, it’s Orion. He’s about to tell Chuck the identity of the mysterious Orion, when he’s killed by the Fulcrum agents. Cole and Sarah show up and Cole get’s shot (again?) in the process of rescuing Chuck.

Later, Chuck asks General Grandma about Orion. She says that they have no leads, but they are working on it. Cole is getting a medical flight back to the U.K. but he’s got some parting advice for Chuck. He’s seen the way he looks at Casey and this isn’t his first rodeo. He tells Chuck to go for it and also that he should always carry a gun (or two).

Chuck tries to tell Morgan that he can’t move in with him, but Morgan tells him that he’s moving in with Anna.

Before he leaves, Cole makes one last pass at Sarah, possibly to test his theory about her and Chuck. He asks her to go with him on vacation while he recoups from his gunshot wounds. She refuses and says she can’t cheat on her “cover” boyfriend. Cole tells her that he thinks Chuck is more than a “cover” and Sarah thinks about it and it’s probably true.

Chuck meets Sarah at the apartment and tells her that he can’t move in with her because he is crazy about her. He says that he can't stand being around her everyday. Sarah tells Chuck that she understands. Chuck tells Sarah that he plans to get the Intersect out of his head and he will go back to his normal life.

Back in his room after telling Ellie he’s not moving out, Chuck takes down the Tron poster he got from his father when he was a kid, and he’s got all kinds of details charted on the back about the Intersect. He pencils in “Orion” on the center of the chart.

  2. ok, so what I liked about this episode:
Love the fact that Chuck is keeping his own record of the Intersect.
Dad, is mentioned again, so I hope it is soon that we meet him, I hear it is going to be Scott Bakula( Quantum Leap)
Did you notice in this weeks episode , when Chuck pretended to be tying his shoe, he was doing it to the one with the cast? lol
