  1. Well, it is fashion mayhem at Mode this week, and everyone is busy. Betty gets teamed up with “sports guy” Matt, at YETI and each of them has to learn something from the other. Fashion Week is upon us at Mode….of course, the Oscar’s are Sunday.

Matt seems genuinely glad that he is with Betty. He follows her and tries to learn what she does even though Betty keeps schluffing him off.
Betty and Christina (jokingly) write a press release for designer Heinrick, whom they don’t really like. Somehow it actually gets released….of course it does, it’s Betty! We find out Matt gave it to Daniel…he didn’t know it was not the real one. Daniel and Heinrick love it and want Betty to produce his show.

Matt finally gets fed up with Betty, and asks why she hasn’t asked any questions of his job. He is sorry he wanted to get teamed with her. He tells her that she judged him without ever getting to know him, which is exactly what she doesn’t want people to do to her. Betty apologizes and says she wants to see what he does.
Matt takes her to the locker room, which in my opinion is GREAT, but Betty feels a bit out of place and uncomfortable. He explains that it is not so much the sport he likes, it is getting to know each person and finding out what makes them tic. I like this guy! Now for me to say this is a BIG step. I am a big supporter of Henry, but this guy is ok. He actually reminds me a bit of Henry…quiet, nice, and yet tells Betty what she needs to hear.
Through Matt’s suggestion, Betty learns about Heinrick…his real self, and gets it perfect. Heinrick loves his show. But who goes down the runway last?
    Betty?….no
    Amanda?...no
    Marc?...y…no
    Christina?...yes, and baby, too.
So picture this….Marc with headset microphone queuing the models to surround the mother so nobody can see. Baby is born. Marc queue's hydraulic lift…up rises Whilhelmina holding baby in outstretched arms. Marc queue’s the “cannon” and out pours confetti.
    Brilliant and hilarious!
    It is a boy!

Other items of interest in this episode:
Wilhelmina is dissed by everyone in fashion industry throughout this episode. (which is why she had the big ending)
Molly, we learn is talking to Daniel, from the hospital…we don’t know why she is there.
Hilda and Elena don’t get along until the end at the show, where a truce is made.
Matt admits he wanted to be teamed with Betty because he wanted t get to know her.

What did you think? Did you like Matt?

  2. Good episode last night, still haven't made up my mind about Matt yet. Yeah, he was nice ok, cute there said it and in some way reminded me of Henry, need to watch a few more episodes to make up my mind. :P I think he kinda looks like Josh Groban a little. Marc yet again, hilarious!! the ending was the best. OMG!! can't believe Justin gave up his ticket to the show...I was shocked!

  3. See...I am glad someone else enjoyed the ending. That was the classic stuff we got to see during season 1. Marc stole the show
