  1. This week, the whole gang goes to an advertising award ceremony and arch-enemy Simon Cochran wins. Sarah’s ad with her old agency wins but another person takes credit for it. Mason and Conner try to stop her but she storms the stage, saying nothing. Conner leaves, saying he can’t watch and runs into Carrie, an ex of his who he clearly still has feelings for. She’s pregnant and married but the real trouble is that it doesn’t seem to stop Conner, who calls her the one that got away.

Stu Hoffman wins the Best in Show brick and Conner tells Mason he has to get up there. The emcee has no idea Stu is dead and Mason struggles to come up with a speech. He ends up calling Stu a “quintessential ad man,” raises the brick and walks away. Later, in the office, big bosslady Denise tells Tony and Mason they need to win more awards. Bossman Tony tells Mason privately that awards aren’t important, despite what Denise says.

Sarah runs into Simon in the elevator, who compliments her and makes an attempt to steal her for his group. She gets stuck in a shampoo group, which is a notoriously difficult product to come up with lines for. People on TV screens give testimonials on their hair and shampoo, until they directly address Sarah and tell her to jump ship. Adding insult to injury, she discovers a guy named Jonah has taken over her office and oh so kindly left all of her stuff in boxes just outside the door. Sarah shows this to Mason who realizes he forgot to tell HR he had given Sarah his office.

Understandably, Sarah meets Simon for lunch and he offers her art director Jamie Rawlston and a job starting the next week. Conner spots them out together and alerts Mason, telling him they must out-woo Sarah. The two plan a dinner at Mason’s, with Mason’s wife, Erin, doing the cooking. Erin isn’t a fan and tells Mason to bring dinner. Yes, it sounds like a big bad plan and it is. It does give us an adorable moment when Conner rolls backward in his chair, out of his office and to Sarah’s desk to invite her to dinner.

The episode is peppered with sweet flashbacks to Conner and Carrie’s relationship, including one where he washes her hair while she relaxes in a tub. It’s a sweet and sexy moment. Sarah struggles to come up with anything for the shampoo project and Conner rubs her head, invoking the moment between him and Carrie. It helps (why wouldn’t it?) and Sarah comes up with “Life…styled.” Fantastic tagline, Krajicek-Hunter.

This leads us to the all-important saving Sarah dinner. Big bad bosslady Denise delays Mason and Conner goes out to dinner with Carrie, who ends up being Carrie’s husband, Dan. Dan tells Conner to stop texting Carrie and Conner offers to let Dan throw a drink on him. Dan punches instead and Conner throws the drink on himself. Meanwhile, at Mason’s house, Erin and Sarah try to pass the time but Sarah manages to insult Erin a few times, accidentally. Our dear Sarah Krajicek-Hunter’s a bit awkward so it’s bound to happen but I still love her. Mason comes home, forgetting the food and Sarah leaves. He takes her to the train station, where he tells her Cochran won’t let her be a star and he’ll never let her take credit for her work. It’s a nice, sincere moment, interrupted when Conner zombie-attacks Sarah’s window. Conner takes the last train home with Sarah.

Call me crazy but I like the way they’re dancing with Conner and Sarah. It’s the perfect way to handle the two of them right now and I’m loving it. So, what did you think? Tell me your TwoCents in the comments!
