Angela is extremely perky because she sold her engagement ring on ebay and bought a $7000 cat named Princess Lady. Angela has a nanny cam on her cats which just tells me all I need to know about Angela.
Jim gets Kelly a birthday cake, but Kelly hates it because her name isn’t on it and it has no theme. Kelly is way too freaking high-maintenance. If someone presented me with ice cream cake right now, I’d be all over that thing.
Pam and Michael go to the Nashua branch to see Holly, but Holly is on an HR retreat. The receptionist kindly directs them to speak to A.J., Holly’s boyfriend. Oh snap!

Michael is quite upset about that turn of events. Pam tries to relate to Michael but he has none of it. Michael does the presentation and picks on A.J. on the entire presentation. It’s extremely awkward as you can imagine. Michael asks A.J. if Holly ever talks about him, but A.J. has no idea what he’s talking about. Michael has a breakdown and ends up crawling out of the room. Pam tries to save the presentation with Michael’s note cards and it’s just hideous and awkward and cringe-inducing.
Angela catches two of her cats, um, mating on the kitty cam. Angela goes home to deal with the cats and Oscar and Kevin watch her on the kitty cam. Angela cleans one of the cats with her tongue. Angela comes back to the office and coughs up a hairball.
Michael visits Holly’s desk and cuts off one of her sweater sleeves to keep. Then he sees a file called “Dear Michael” on her desktop. Michael downloads it to flash drive.
Michael confesses his theft to Pam. Pam says he can’t read it, but she could. Pam says the document says that Holly still has feelings for Michael and that it’s not over.
Jim and Dwight throw Kelly a party and give her a decision as to the theme. She either gets an hour of TV or an hour nap. She chooses the nap in the conference room and everyone else eats cake out in the office. Dwight wakes her up by banging trashcan lids and as Kelly walks out he slaps her on the butt and says “Many happy returns”. Awesome.
I actually liked this episode better than the last one even though there were a lot of cringy moments. I kind of like when I have to watch through my fingers. What’d you think? Better or worse than the last episode?
I was seriously heartbroken for Michael when he found out Holly had a new bf. But, dude, is Holly like an office slut- my god- she's in HR and she has a new inter-office boyfriend at every locale wtf!
