Only a little bit of character development went on in this episode, so I will mostly be covering the case, itself. Trust me, I rather cover the characters.

  1. Only a little bit of character development went on in this episode, so I will mostly be covering the case, itself. Trust me, I rather cover the characters.

Fisher is back as our guest squint/geek and the best thing is …he watches “Fringe”.
Found dead, is a woman named Kendra who is dressed in costume as a medieval princess. Bones and Agent Perotta go to investigate since Booth is out because of back trouble…made worse because Bones attempted to fix it like last time.

Kendra had a sword worth lots of money, that she wanted to sell according to the “blacksmith”. Through clues that Hodgins and Angela find, the sword is buried near a toad infested area.. The guys: Sweets, Hodgins, and Fisher are excited to have the sword. Each, in their own geeky way, plays with it. To catch the killer, they plan to auction it off at the geek show. Sweets is going “under cover” (yea, right) as the bidder and Fisher is going to be the cameraman because they are the two that would blend in the most…I agree, totally! Sweets wins (of course) but no killer is revealed, and when Bones and Sweets are driving back they are hit by another car and out came a “black knight” and he takes the sword. Props to Bones… Xena Warrior, gets out of the car and and kicks ass, sending the masked Black Knight running.

During a phone call, Booth, jacked-up on Vicoden, tells Perotta to make sure nothing happens to Bones…”the silky black hair, soft smooth skin…” uh oh, I think we just learned something here! Booth needs to be on drugs more often!

Fisher spends the night with Elvira woman and comes up with the possible murder weapon.
Hodgins goes on a field trip with Bones and gets another piece of evidence of the knight who attacked Bones and Sweets. This leads them to Kroon, the blacksmith. Sweets has Bones recite a poem to Kroon, it is his confession. He loved the victim. Now I have to say, Sweets was a good addition to the team this week and helped a lot.
Bones looks at Booths x-rays and says he was misdiagnosed. She does another back adjustment, he is better.
I missed Bones/Booth together moments…but we learned something, didn’t we?
How about you? Did you like this week’s episode? Personally, I like more character development than what goes on with the case, itself.

    Thanks for listening
    Karen
