  1. Congratulations to our 44th President, Barack Obama. And now, onto our Grey’s Anatomy fix!

    Denny the Stalker!
Denny goes a little stalker on Izzie while she’s treating Jackson (the young boy) and says something about not being able to leave until she figures something out or does something. He mentions she is a doctor so maybe she’s gone insane and Denny is there to help or something.

Denny continues to stalk Izzie and ramble loudly while she is trying to take instructions from one of the doctors. This leads to a few verbal outbursts which, of course, confuse and perplex the doctor and Alex who was there, also. Denny keeps trying to get Izzie to think like a scientist and figure out what’s wrong with her but she just can’t seem to see it.

All this time Denny has been saying “I’m here for you”. Izzie finally figures out that he’s not there to support her but to take her because she’s sick. Apparently instead of Denny telling Izzie she was sick he decided to have a few booty calls while he was down there and Izzie is a bit pissed off about that. Izzie pushes Denny away (again) and maybe now we’ll finally figure out what is wrong with Izzie.

    McSerial-Killer & Jackson
Meredith informs Miranda that Dunn is an organ match for her boy but Miranda is somewhat conflicted about taking them. Meredith is purposely not paging Derek (despite Dunn’s pretty banged up cranium) because Dunn is pretty content with dying and giving his organs to the young boy. Soon though Dunn waivers and asks for help so Christina (who had just found what Meredith was doing) pages Derek.

Derek is peeved that Meredith kept him in the dark (even though he was all cheery about being ready to propose earlier). He sets up a surgery and instructs Meredith that she will scrub in while he tries to undo the damage Meredith has caused (from his perspective). The surgery is about to begin when a conflicted Miranda walks in and asks Derek to put down the scalpel.

Miranda and Derek have a crazy intense back and forth in the operating room and ultimately Derek says whether he operates or not is up to Miranda- and she chooses to let Derek operate. The surgery goes well and the patient is saved at the hands of Derek.

In the meantime, the Chief finds another match for Jackson and while Jackson’s mom is literally in the process of saying her goodbye’s to him, Chief runs in and announces the organs. They rush Jackson to the OR but he is already crashing. They seem to perform the organ transplant OK but they’re not sure if he will wake up.

Dunn, after he wakes up, tries to explain he was just playing Meredith- but she knows better- and explains that death is scary and he got scared and that’s OK. He says it would be nice to have a friendly face at his execution- and Meredith shows up and sits in the crowd. As Dunn is dying we find out Jackson is waking up.

    McSteamy & Little Grey
During what sounds like a wild romp on the in-call room McSteamy seems to hurt himself- his “little self” if you catch my drift. I am going to opt to not live vicariously through this particular moment. Word starts to spread that someone broke McSteamy’s ‘johnson’ and the interns get inquisitive. Suspicion revolves around Torres so Sadie asks Little Grey and of course her response is jittery and nervous and adorable like she is. Little Grey is the WORST liar ever! But seriously it’s adorable- am I the only one who thinks this?

Torres grabs Hunt who informs McSteamy he has a penile fracture and that they should operate now before risking permanent damage. If any doctors or nurses read this can someone explain to this humble writer how one can fracture a body part that has no bones?

The interns keep talking about the injury and subsequently pressing Little Grey to spill the beans. They discover it could be Little Grey that is responsible but Sadie sees this and interjects that she was the culprit. And the interns seem to take her at her word instead of begging for juicy details which I find odd.

Here it is your moment of Zen (also known as ‘quote of the episode’):

“I’m not going anywhere. I’ve got a friend who is guarding the door - a good friend - and since no one is going to be coming in I am now going to climb into bed with you and stroke your hair because that’s what I like to have done for me when I’m hurt” -Lexi (Little Grey), to McSteamy, after his surgery.
