Big Love and Conchords Return to HBO

Times are tough for everyone these days, including home-improvement store owner Bill Henrickson and his three wives. In the face of a flat do-it-yourself market and a crackdown on polygamists around the country, Bill wants to protect his growing family and his chain of Home Plus superstores by diversifying his business operations and building neighborhood goodwill. And as if his life wasn't complicated enough already, he wants to take a fourth wife who can produce more children.

The drama series BIG LOVE kicks off its ten-episode third season with the episode entitled "Block Party," debuting SUNDAY, JAN. 18 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, followed by other episodes on subsequent Sundays at the same time.

Also, the ten-episode second season of HBO's Emmy(r)-nominated comedy series FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS, starring the New Zealand music-comedy duo of Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie, debuts SUNDAY, JAN. 18 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT).

Over the course of the new season, Bret and Jemaine resort to a variety of unconventional strategies in an attempt to jump-start their lives and career, including: taking desperate measures to pay the bills; starting up a gang; and even dating an Australian - a taboo in New Zealand. Their efforts rarely yield dividends, but do spawn new tunes about life, love and the pursuit of an elusive music video.

  1. I love, love, love Flight of the Conchords and I watched the first ep. of season 2 the moment it went up at funnyordie.com. This is a great show and it really needs some big numbers this season. HBO was thinking about pulling the plug after season 1, so spread the word.
