The women of SAMCRO are front and center this week, as the ATF tries to use them for leverage. FX continues to provide an interesting variety of female characters. This is a show that could have kept the ladies as eye candy and focused on the guys. Their inner strength and different methods of getting what they want make a great contrast.

The women of SAMCRO are front and center this week, as the ATF tries to use them for leverage. FX continues to provide an interesting variety of female characters. The sexually provocative Agent Stahl (Ally Walker) returns to Charming, kicking Uncer out of his office. They know about the hit on the Oakland Port Commissioner, but the evidence is circumstantial. Working closely with Hale in more ways than one, she targets Luanne, Donna, Tara and Cherry to get to the men in their lives.
(NOTE: I had been referring to Cherry as Terri in past recaps, but it’s cleared up. Now we find out that’s not even her real name!)
Stahl shuts down Luanne’s porn set and arrests her for the drugs she finds on the set, trying to turn her against Otto, who is already in prison. Stahl leverages them against each other, offering Otto conjugal visits with her and a possibly reduced sentences. After Tig and Piney cause a diversion at a local bar, Opey and Jax slip into the police station to get Luanne to deliver a message to Otto. They don’t want him giving up any info. But Otto has already agreed to give Stahl info on a nine year old hijacking. Stahl accepts, since even a dead link can help her case. She types up the statement and brings it in for his signature, but instead, he attacks her, leaving her bloody, bitter and with more of a grudge than ever.
Cherry meets Gemma in the market and admits that she’s wanted in Nevada for arson and theft. She also abandoned her abusive husband, but never filed from divorce. Once she spots the agents in the market, she attacks one and is apprehended by another before Stahl arrives for a head-to-head with Gemma. Exchanging flirtation, Gemma is well aware of Stahl’s strategy. Stahl threatens Rita (Cherry) with extradition to Nevada to serve her time. When Jax and Opey get to the station, she is worried that she might crack under pressure and give up info on SAMCRO’s illegal interstate activities. They decide to break her out. On the way out, Jax catches Hale and Stahl in one of the offices, but leaves before they see him.
Donna refuses to give up any info on Opey. Tara plays dumb while she answers the questions. Once Jax arrives, she admits that she’s worried Stahl is digging into Kohn’s disappearance. Jax asks her if she loves him, but she says she does not have an easy answer.
Jax and Opey discuss Opey’s failure during the hit. Jax worries about his focus. Opey returns to Donna with the mortgage payment, but she is already packed. He wonders why she waited for him to finish his prison term, knowing that SAMCRO is in his blood. Later in the episode, Stahl receives an ID on the Oakland shooter, fingering Bobby and Opey.
The Sons stash Cameron in a cabin to recuperate. As Gemma comes to check on him, he is paying the rosary. The two have a brief discussion of the merits of prayer and religion, not to mention the possibility of using the rosary as a sex toy. At the end of the episode, he and Rita are being smuggled to Canada. He gives the rosary to Gemma, but she feels Rita could make better use of it.
