This week Kimmie asks Betty for a job at Mode. Reluctantly, she gets her one, but regrets it later. As for Daniel,he is missing DJ and dealing with some stiff competition with Wilhelmina as they share Editor in Chief of Mode.
Daniel and Willie disagree on everything! Poor Betty is doing twice the work and still nothing is getting done. Daniel decides to let her "friend" Kimmie have a job, helping Betty.At first, Betty saw it as an opportunity to get back for how Kimmie treated her in high school. But when she sees her running into the glass doors and knocking over stuff in the meeting room, Betty sees herself, therefore helping Kimmie do a good job.
As Kimmie is on the job, she uses Daniel's contacts and sets her and Betty up as VIP's in some popular night clubs and then head out at night.
Meanwhile Daniel tells Claire how he misses DJ and he wants to settle down and start a family. He fills out an application for a dating site and had Betty "tweak" it a bit and heads out for a blind date.
Justin try's out for a part in a musical, but when he gets there he finds out that a kid that picks on him in school is also trying out.
After Kimmie and Amanda talk for a bit, Amanda takes her to the "closet" to dress her appropriately. Kimmie comes out all chic and Betty eyes widen.Marc and Amanda are now joining them in their night out, and poor Betty is odd girl out.
Daniel goes on a dinner cruise and meets his date, who is.... wait for it..... Wilhelmina! They are both disappointed in how it turned out, but since the boat has already left, they eat dinner. They both set off the smoke alarm to get the captain to tun around and head for shore. While talking, they actually get along ok. They agree to try and be a bit more civil toward each other. I smell something fishy!
As for Justin, he and the kid from school try to show each other who is better, but they both don't get the part. Justin shows some compassion to the other kid, and the next day at school, they are friends. I wonder how the writers will deal with this friendship. Possible love interest for Justin?
As for Betty's night:Kimmie, Marc and Amanda are all having a good time , but Betty is not. They ditch Betty and go into a club for 45 minutes before Kimmie comes out and tells her she wants to hang with her and go clubbing. They spend the night out late and sneaky Kimmie sets Betty up for the fall when Betty arrives late at work. But since Kimmie got some publicity for Mode while out, Daniel makes her Associate Editor in Chief. Betty is stunned. Off walk Kimmie, Marc and Amanda...... strutting their stuff!
I felt so bad for Betty in this episode. Now, I don't know about you, but I really wish they never had Lohan do this part. I just don't think she was all that great. And from what I read, she has not been pleasant to work with. I think she has some growing up to do. She only needed a 1 episode gig.
