Three Things That Made This a Good Episode and A Few Things That Didn't:

    The Great:
    1. The guest stars. Once again, they chose guest stars that didn't stand out too much. Teri Polo and Josh Charles are recognizable but they don't stand out enough to be distracting. They both did a stellar job in the roles, especially Teri Polo who was extremely believable as a mother of a possible pedophile. She both loves and is disgusted by her son and is beyond conflicted about what to do.

    2. The story. The premise was interesting this week. A pre-pedophile turning himself in before he assaults a child? That's a far better twist than the one at the end. Jake was an interesting character as well, a man who runs a website to help people not give in to their pedophilic urges. It's too bad he's a bit too overzealous when it comes to thinking he makes the rules in his little society.

    3. Stabler. It's not surprising he ran out of the precinct and went after Jake like that. Stabler's like a bull with a red flag when it comes to his family. What is surprising is that no one really picked up on it until it was nearly too late. I love when Stabler gets like that and kicks down doors but he doesn't really think at all. I don't know how his family would feel about how impulsive he is if he got fired, which he probably should have been at least ten times over by now. Good thing it's SVU and not reality because I doubt Christopher Meloni is going anywhere. I hope not.

    The Not So Great:
    1. I could have done without the 911 tape. That really freaked me out. I know it's all fake but it still felt a bit too real and a bit too unnecessary.

    2. Once again, the ad department made it seem like the entire episode was about Stabler and his daughter, which it wasn't. I spent about fifteen minutes wondering how this boy was tied to Stabler's daughter and that was distracting at best.
