Hookay, new episode of Knight Rider. Was I excited? Erm, do ducks fly? So, basically, this episode is “The Fast and Furious”-KITT style (teehee, FYI, exec. producer and writer for Knight Rider, Gary Scott Thompson directed “The Fast and The Furious”…)

There’s fast cars, hot girls (well, if you’re a guy, yeah, they were hot, if you’re a girl…you’d more or less be like “slut….”) and weapons dealing to, guess who, China.

Michael Tracuer, er, Knight…Michael Knight, sorry, is on the case, trying to infiltrate a racing group led by two brothers, who Mike and the gang know are the ones dealing to China.

And of course, KITT is the ace in hole. I mean, the coolest car ever , racing against the mere mortals of the automobile world…. piece of cake. Mike’s in like Flynn.

In the mix, is Mike’s gal pal, Sarah and an old army buddy of Mike’s, a guy by the name of Sean. Sarah’s dad isn’t all that keen on her being part of this, but sorry Pops, Daddy’s little girl is all grown up…

Sean seems alright, you know, ex-army dude…ran into so trouble with the law after getting out, seems on the straight and narrow. Chyeah, right…

Mike does the racing thing, throwing KITT around like a toy…AND then…to top it all off…nearly trashes him when he orders KITT to transform back into normal mode while amidst the flying part of mega awesome Turbo Boost.

It appears that wasn’t the best idea, because like I said, he nearly trashes KITT. Grrrr…the fangirl in me was screaming, “NOOOOOOO! DON’T! KITT!” Ahem, so, the hot girl part comes into play when Sarah, in an incredibly skimpy bikini (Daddy didn’t like that…), infiltrates a little shindig at a rich guys house, where some of the hottest cars I’ve ever seen (none as hot as KITT, though…) are being kept. If the curious guys out there want to know what the gals looked like, and why Mike-In-Hungry-Man mode was so hilarious, sorry. You’ll have to watch it yourself. I won’t get into details , mainly because, dude, I wasn’t interested in the bikinis.

Anyways, Sarah, as part of a deal that was made with on of the brothers, has to steal him a car from this rich guy. She does the kick-ass thing, steals the car and bam…that part’s down.

Needless to say, one thing leads to another, with Mike and Sarah continuing their infiltration…finding out that the weapons are actually the hot cars, with their GPS systems being the weapons, and they get caught. First Mike…after going in after Sarah after SHE gets snagged.

She got away and back in KITT, who whisks her away. The two rush back to get Mike’s buddy, Sean, who works at the brother’s favorite watering hole, in the hope he knows where the brothers go to get rid of people.

They’re in luck…kind of. Sean directs her and KITT to the spot, and along the way, Sarah shows Sean some of KITT’s capabilities…BAD idea. They find Mike buried up to his neck in dirt…with dune buggies and big trucks buzzing around him. Egads.

So KITT does the saving thing, blocking the one brother’s truck form hitting Mike, while Sarah digs Mike out. Yay! All is we-HEY! Why did Sean just hit Sarah in the face with the butt of his huge shot gun?!

Because Seany boy is actually working with the brother’s and has decided that opportunity is knocking. KITT is too much money to let go and Mike knows too much and needs to be eliminated. Creep.

So, KITT has some sort of dampening shield on him and kills his main operating system and satellite signal. SO not cool.

As KITT is being shoved into a truck, Sean makes his farwells to a pissed off Mike…way to rub it in. But KITT isn’t out of it yet, back at the KittCave, the rest of the gang, including the hilarious techie, Bill Morgan and Sarah’s dad, Dr. Graiman, are frantically trying to get KITT back online. And…and…bingo! KITT bursts back to life and destroys the dampening system, then helps free Mike from his chains which lets him beat the crap out of the bad guys.

Sean makes a run for it…only to find himself tumbling over a huge cliff and perishing a fiery death. Sigh…so sad. Back in the KITTCave, Mike is a little down about Sean’s death.

Understandable, since he was like a brother to Mike…but, in what was perhaps the greatest “awwwww” moment, KITT says that, although he is new to the whole friendship thing, he would be honored to call Mike one of his friends.

So, all in all, a nice episode. It had the right mix of action, humor…and, yes…sex (Oh no! I said the s-word! Gasp!) KITT is learning, slowly but surely, he’s finding his way…he’s actually getting a sense of humor; he’s learning why friendship is important…basically, KITT’s taking his education in stride.

And I think he’s a good student. The human factor is getting interesting. Sarah and Mike getting together on and off, Sarah’s dad is a little ticked off at Mike, head man Alex Torres catching heat from all sides, techie Master Billy getting the laughs…it’s all good. Next week should-WILL-be great.

So, that’s my TwoCents. What do you guys think?
