Top 10 Things I Learned from Entourage This Week

1. In Hollywood, it’s perfectly reasonable to conduct business at a funeral, particularly if that business involves moving Ari “from the ground floor to the penthouse” of the departed’s studio.
2. Drama’s recent meltdown on The View is not doing him any favors with European models. Hey, is Drama not the one on the network television show? Some respect, please.
3. There are maybe two clients that Ari really cares about. One of them is Vincent Chase. The other remains unnamed—could this be a bid for an HBO spinoff series?

    4. Dana Gordon is still around and ready to bust out of the misogynistic chains in which Allan put her. She’s now bucking to be Ari’s #2 at the studio.
    5. Reality show writers don’t have Ari’s attention, especially because all they write about is “eating bullcock tempura.” Cue confused look from Lloyd.
    6. Humor is one of many talents that models have. Another is putting together showcase reels of their appearances in slasher flicks. E is put into the uncomfortable position of trying to determine which of these talents is more confusing when he catches the attention of a model about twice his height (hence, the attempts at humor).
    7. If Drama can’t, er, “get with” a model, then nobody should. Hey, is Drama not the one on the network television show? Some respect, please.
    8. If Jeffrey Tambor (revealed to be another of Ari’s clients, though probably not the mysterious second client he really cares about) is any judge, there are at least two valid ways of pronouncing Kenneth Branagh’s last name. Also, television is Satan’s work. Give this man another series! Or at least a script for an Arrested Development feature.
    9. Ari is just not cut out for the cut-throat world of fashion, especially if it means being propositioned by self-denying gay model managers. And, between chunky spec scripts for The Hobbit from reality TV writers and Jeffrey Tambor’s daily visits, the choice of whether or not to accept the studio head offer is becoming easier.
    10. Vince still wants to finish what he and Ari started together. This leads to perhaps this season’s most poignant scene, when Vince and Ari are seen boarding separate flights in a private hanger. As Ari enters his plane, Vince, from his seat onboard a flight populated by hot models on their way to an exotic shoot, closes his porthole window view of Ari and turns to his new model friend to the strains of Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees.” Bravo!

So is this a sign that Ari and Vince are about to go their separate ways? Will Ari accept the studio head position in order to maintain his friendship with Vince? Will that Hobbit movie ever get made? Will Drama ever get laid? Get down in the comments!
