As the title foreshadows, this is an episode of many revelations. The first is Dawson's discovery of the Pacey/Tamara sex tape, inadvertently created in the last episode. Of course, he and viewing companion Joey don't know who the guy with the "brown hair and throbbing neck muscles" is. In fact, they're so clueless that they go on to mock Pacey's interest in the tape, thinking it's rooted in jealousy. Pacey breaks into Dawson's room to find the incriminating tape, and then comes clean when Dawson finds him. That's Big Boom #1.

Big Boom #2 slaps him in the face when he visits his mom's news station to dub Jen's screaming for his movie, and sees Gail kissing Co-Anchor Bob. Jen offers to be a shoulder for him, but he runs to Joey instead. But then he finds out she knew all along - Sub-Boom. Joey explains that she didn't want Dawson to hate her for being the messenger, and thought he would've figured it out himself if he weren't distracted by Jen. Dawson's not having it, and storms off.

Dawson does finally go to Jen to talk and gets blindsided with Big Boom #3. After much foreshadowing throughout the episode from Grams about Jen's shady past, we find out why she really came to Capeside, and so does Dawson: in New York, Jen was ... not a nice girl. She partied too hard so her parents shipped her out, and oops, did she say she was a virgin before? Her bad. Dawson does not take this well.

Pacey starts to get wary when Tamara pulls away from him, and then he keeps spotting her with Mr. Gold (the film teacher). But Tamara, as she usually does, has to ground him. She pulled away because they were in public, she tells him, and as for Mr. Gold, he's more apt to be attracted to Pacey than Tamara. She also sympathizes with his confusion about their relationship, and tells him in a cute roundabout way that he really matters to her ("I didn't mean my high school").

Jen and Joey bond over being blacklisted by Dawson, while Dawson chickens out on telling his dad about Gail's affair. Joey and Dawson do meet up and make up in the end, with lots of sexual tension and cheesy subtext thrown in for good measure.

So what do you think? Was Dawson justified in his reactions? Should he have told his dad? Leave your Two Cents comments.
