We have a double shot of Witchy Willow with the next two episodes on my list. This week’s episode is Something Blue. After Oz leaves for good, Willow is feeling a little left out, so she decides to take matters into her own hands, which gets very interesting.

We have a double shot of Witchy Willow with the next two episodes on my list. This week’s episode is Something Blue. After Oz leaves for good, Willow is feeling a little left out, so she decides to take matters into her own hands, which gets very interesting.

Oz is gone. Willow is depressed. She goes to his room and to feel close to him. But you can tell she is feeling very alone. When she talks to Buffy later, all she can talk about is Riley. Buffy really likes him, but she feels like something is missing. Willow reminds her that he is making her happy, not miserable. Probably not the conversation Willow wants to be having since she just lost her boyfriend. But Willow is a good friend to Buffy.

Buffy is interrogating Spike about the Initiative. They have him shackled in the bathtub. Very funny. Buffy feeds him blood from a mug that says, “Kiss the Librarian.” I love the humor. She teases him as Giles goes to talk to Willow. She found a truth spell. She seems ok, but she is not. Spike is the only one who can see it. She goes to Oz’s apartment and finds it empty.

I know many of you may not agree, but I really liked Buffy and Riley together. They are picnicking as Willow walks by. They invite her to join them. There is an awkward silence.

We jump to the Bronze (this episode jumps around a lot). Anya, Xander and Buffy are talking about Willow and notice that she is having a great time. In reality, she is drunk. She is upset and rude to everybody. Buffy takes her home. As Buffy sleeps, Willow goes into the bathroom to conjure a spell for her will to be done. She tries on many things, and nothing happens. She figures that the spell did not work. Giles comes to talk to her about the truth spell. She tells him of the spell she tried and Giles was not happy with her. He does not think she should be doing spells right now. She is angry and feels like no one wants to make time for her. He tells her that he sees what she is saying and Willow tells him that he doesn’t see anything. Now Giles is having difficulty seeing. He tries to cast the truth spell on Spike and drops the key. Spike gets the key and escapes.
Buffy and Willow are talking as Giles calls. Willow gets angry that she is leaving to find Spike. She says that she doesn’t see the big deal, that he is probably just standing out there and she will find him in like two seconds. And there he is. Spike punches her and she punches him back. She brings him to Giles’ apartment. They argue. AS this is happening, Willow and Xander are talking. Willow is angry and says that is Buffy cares about Spike so much, why doesn’t she just go marry him. Giles comes out of the bathroom to find Spike proposing to Buffy. Willow is now lashing out on Xander and calls him a demon magnet. Oh Willow, you need to watch what you are saying!
Giles knows something mystical is happening and calls Willow for help. Buffy and Spike talk wedding plans. The sweet part is that Buffy asks Giles to give her way. Giles is excited and realizes, why? This is not real. Spike and Buffy bicker about living in the shadow of their exes. Giles cannot see anything now, so Buffy head to the magic shop to get supplies for a reversal spell. She passes by the wedding shop and runs into Riley. He is freaked out when Buffy goes on to tell him that she is getting married. Riley is confused as he leaves.

Anya and Xander are enjoying a little alone time as a demon crashes though the basement door. A very cheesy looking demon. Luckily Anya knows how to take care of him. As they kill one demon, another enters. Anya and Xander go to Giles’ house. Buffy tells them that Giles is blind and her and Spike are getting married. They figure out what is happening and that Willow is the cause.
As Willow gets back to her room, D'Hoffryn gets her and takes her to his world. He tells her that he is impressed and wants to make her a vegence demon. Buffy, Xander, Anya and Spike get to the room and discover a scorch on the floor. Anya knows it is D’Hoffryn and that he has opened a portal there. They go to a crypt to summon him and get Willow back, but are attacked by demons. Willow tells D’Hoffryn that she does not want to be a demon, she wants to help her friends. He sends Willow back and she arrives just in time to break the spell. The demons disappear and Spike and Buffy snap out of it and find themselves kissing eachother.

Back at Giles’, Willow is busy making up for everything. The best part is that Willow has a shirt that says “Speak No Evil” on. Very nice. As Willow and Buffy talk, Buffy realizes that she told Riely she was getting married. She makes up a story that she was messing with them. All is right again, at least for now.

Well, that was number 6 on my list. Would it have made your top Buffy episodes list? If so, where at? Next week I will be reviewing number 5 on my list, “Tabula Rasa”, season 6, episode 8. We get to see Willow’s spell go wrong again as everyone forgets who they are. Please leave your two cents in the comment section or e-mail me at JennyD@thetwocentscorp.com. I will see you next week!

  2. This one would definitely be number one on my list.

Xander sees Spike and Buffy kissing. Xander: "Can I be blind too?" Hee.

    Love it!
