Before there was Dunder-Mifflin there was Wernham-Hogg. America’s favorite office manager might be Michael Scott, but he’s got nothing on David Brent. Join us this summer as I recap the original “The Office” from the UK, the one that started it all.
Watch Tim (Martin Freeman) and Dawn (Lucy Davis) flirt around each other, Gareth (Mackenzie Crook) do something completely idiotic, and David Brent (Ricky Gervais) mismanage and insult and entire room of people. Catch the British slang and dry humor that makes the show such a joy to watch. You’ll fall out of your chair laughing and as Finchy would say, “While you’re down there, love…”
