Thursdays episode had 2 major storylines and 1 minor storyline. Betty throws a shower for Charlie in attempt to be friends so she can have some time with Henry. The Meade's find out Wilhelmina is having a baby. And Hilda confronts Justin's gym teacher about his failing grade.

Betty and the Meade's try to convince Daniel that he needs to talk to a therapist to get over Renee and try to get his life back on track. So Betty makes an appointment for him to see a therapist in which Daniel goes to and ends up sleeping with her. What else is new, right?

Betty decides to take some of the same advice she gave Daniel, and apply it to her own situation with Charlie. Since Charlie is always sabotaging Betty and Henry's moments together, she decides to become friends with her in attempt that it will have Charlie come around and accept that Betty and Henry want to be together. So Betty goes to Charlie's "Baby Bump" yoga class to be her partner. Let's just say it didn't go to well. When class was over, Betty offered to throw Charlie a baby shower. Later, Amanda finds out an pretty much invites herself (funny scene). Betty runs into Claire at work and they talk. Claire tells Betty the relationship with Henry has no future and she needs to get on with her life.

Hilda goes to Justin's school and meets Coach Diaz. The coach says he just wants him to show up and make an effort. So Justin gets detention and had to arrange the bats and balls in the equipment room. So Hilda, decides to try and make up for it by cutting Diaz's hair and talk to him. But after a little flirtation she accidentally cuts his ear. When Hilda goes to apologize later, the coach says he if Justin choreographs the cheerleading team, he passes.

Wilhelmina, Marc and Christina go to see Dr. Weiss who says everything is going well and she is due in 6 months. But when Willie and Marc leave , Christina sees the doctors video of the sonogram is labeled "Meade/Slater baby" and wonders why. The doctor says "It must me strange carrying a dead mans baby". Now she knows who baby it really is. Christina freaks out and goes to tell her husband, Stuart. Stuart says that maybe they should try to get more money out of Wilhelmina.

Just before the shower, Henry stops by to tell Betty that he wants to keep seeing Betty when he goes back to Tucson. This makes Betty very happy. Betty's father explains that this will be very hard, having a long distance relationship. Once your a parent, nothing is the same. Daniel shows up at the Suarez home needing money to get back home because he lost his wallet during his wild night out.Christina shows up at the Suarez home needing to talk.
After Charlie expresses that she didn't like anything Betty did for her at the shower, Betty goes on a rant about how unappreciative Charlie is and that she is done trying to be friends. Then Charlie says her water broke!

Meanwhile Papi (Betty's dad) is out walking with Daniel, having a nice talk. Papi tells Daniel he needs to find his passion and to feel good about himself. Christina confronts Willie and wants her to promise to love and care for the baby. Daniel goes back to work , where his passion lies. Willie shows up and announces she is having Bradford's baby and wants 1/3 of the Meade empire.

Back at the Suarez house...Betty and Charlie talk. Betty admits why she threw the shower and Charlie apologizes for being a b**ch. But Charlie says it was hard seeing the guy she loves falling in love with someone else. (big wake-up moment for Betty) And that is why she had the affair with the dentist. Betty apologized too. Henry shows up at the Suarez home just in time for the baby to be born. It's a boy!! Henry looks so proud and happy holding his baby. But Betty realizes that it is now different and she is losing Henry. Very touching moment.

Next week - Wilhelmina comes back to Mode. Betty and Henry take a break and Gio steps in.

    Fave Quotes:
Willie: "As I march up the steps of the Meade building, it will be the greatest comeback since....Jesus"

Justin: "Please don't...he might make me quarterback of the hockey team or something"

Marc: "Willie, why can't things be easy or once. On the surface our plans are rock solid...and we're both so attractive"

Amanda: " Why is everyone so fat at this party?" (pregnant women)
"What if your already beautiful? Can you become too beautiful, I mean is it dangerous, can you hurt someone?"
"Ok, I see how your playing this. I remember last New Years Eve, I was so drunk , my water broke too."

My 2 cents: First of all I give Betty credit for putting up with Charlie as much as she did. But when they had their heart to heart talk in the end, I saw Charlie's perspective. Henry was adorable holding his baby! I was a bit peeved that Claire, who used to support Betty/Henry , now changed her mind. Willie is really the devil is disguise if you ask me. I think that the cast had one of their best performances yet this year.

What did you think? Leave me a comment and tell me how you felt and what you think might happen. We only have two more episodes!

  2. I cried at the end. Betty was so sad, and Henry so happy. Glad to see Daniel finally come to his senses .... maybe now he will focus on work.

  3. I saw a preview for this coming Thursday's episode where Betty smacks Gio! Can't wait! I know the writers are all making him out to be so nice, but he was a jerk when he first started out on the show and I will never like him. Please writers, don't pursue the Betty/Gio relationship. Even if there's no Betty/Henry, find some other storylines.
