Welcome to the season finale boys and girls. It’s time for the wedding of the century full of wonderful lies, bitch slaps, and drunken people! Yes, it’s not Gossip Girl without these things.

Serena tries her little heart out to reach Dan. After a night of him making-out with Georgina, maybe she doesn’t WANT to find him.

Damn! Rufus and Lily wind up in bed together after their night of rock and roll. Lily is feeling a tad bit remorseful about her actions. Why? Well, she’s getting married today. Bad Lily. Bad!

Chuck and Blair end up in bed together too. Oh don’t worry you pro-Nate people, they’re fully clothed. I like BLUCK as the Internet calls Chuck and Blair. They rule! I need more BLUCK in my Gossipy life. Blair gets up and slams the door in his face. I proceed to died a little.

Nate and Daddy are patching things up. Remember how Daddy liked coke? I think Daddy has something in store.

Serena barges into Dan’s apartment relived he slept there. Ut-Oh, Georgina enters the room. I think she looks slightly proud of herself. I love her. Michelle T totally brought GG back from boring. Anyone? Yes I know I’m not alone.

Serena flips out and calls Georgina a Psycho Bitch. Um. Who’s the psycho here? Serena spills all to Dan who has yet to tell her he played kissy face with the enemy.

Dan and Blair are planning something. Blair watches Dan as he calls to meet up with Georgina. G asks Dan to meet in to park where they first met. In the park, Dan tells G he believes S. Twist alert…Blair enters with G’s parents. They’re sending her a boot camp for Coke Heads/Liars/Trouble-Maker Skanks. Looks like G might be stuck. If we don’t see Michelle T at least some next year I quit.

Wedding time. Things are in full rich people wedding mode! Blair finds Serena in a room alone. They talk about their future fourth weddings and Dan. Nate’s Daddy makes a supposed drug deal. Oops. First time rehabbers are so last year. Just ask some of our favorite teen celebs.

Rufus sneaks into the wedding to see Lily. He wants her to call off the wedding. She’s not sure. Dan tries to make amends, but Serena isn’t sure about her boy either. These crazy Van Der Woodsen’s can never make up their minds! Lily has decided to go through with the wedding. But, she’s late, very late according to Blair. Lily and Bart start their ‘I Do’s’ as Gossip Girl reenters the narrative picture. GG comments on how messed up Dan and Serena have gotten. You sure speak the obvious GG! What’s next, Chuck is a bad boy? No way!

Reception time. Serena is being a loner. Chuck lets Nate know that Daddy is having some druggie issues. Oh wait. It’s not drugs, even better Daddy is skipping the country. Wonderful Dad, isn't he? Oh snap, Natey hits Daddy square in the face. Yeah violence!!

Bitch Blair is back. She tells Vanessa to watch her back while dating Nate. Outside Nate and Chuck makeup and continue their bromance. Later, Dan finds Serena who tells him she doesn’t want their love to end. He on the other hand does. He’s slightly ticked off at all the lies. I totally get it. She’s a nutcase. This breakup is lame as heck. No screaming for him to stay? Nothing?! Gossip Girl c’mon!

Chuck Bass owns all. He speaks from the heart about his father and Lily. While it’s nice, it’s such a neatly wrapped package about the teens and their romance troubles. It’s his forgiveness inner message to Blair. Blair is taken by the speech and they kiss. See it’s always better with more BLUCK!

Summer is here and plans are in order. Blair and Chuck are heading to Tuscany. She keeps making dirty Chuck jokes that freak out his newly minted stepsister Serena. Vanessa and Nate seem to have broken up already. That was fast.

Serena runs into Nate, they make small talk about Blair and Chuck. She asks him if he wants to hang out. Chuck and his Dad seem to be getting a long more. His Dad basically points out Chuck will never change even with a girlfriend. Lily enters the room with an assistant Amelia that Chuck seems to have an eye for. Simultaneously, Blair meets someone of equal interest at the heliport who works for Chuck’s Dad. Chuck asks assistant Amelia what “she has planned for his room.” Blair leaves with that someone to Europe.

A montage of new couples abounds the final minutes. Nate & Serena, Vanessa & Dan, Blair & helicopter friend, Chuck & assistant. New couples already! Only in teen world. As we roll into the summer: Whom do you want to see paired up?

But. more importantly, what have been the highlights of the season for you? The lowlights? And does anyone want to start a Chuck Bass is my secret BF club? I call President! Who wants VP? Call me! xoxo

  2. Vice Prezzie right here! Chuck = Fashion-licious, secret BF.

And more Bluck = better GG.

I have always been a fan of the Nate+Serena thing (what's their web name? Serate? Nerena?)

They ended it great - we have a lot of look forward to next season!

My hopes for next year include a less annoying Jenny, a Nate Serena courtship, an epic Bluck romance, and Vanessa getting hit by a bus. (sorry, not a fan).

  3. Alright we have two for the Chuck club. Secretary anyone?

And Vizzy yes, a less annoying Jenny is SOO in order.

I also thought it was interesting that someone on Zap2It.com compared the finale to the first ending of the show Felicity. Even if you haven't seen it, the idea is about who will be together during the summer and who ends up together in the fall.

  4. I didn't like very much the season finale. I was expecting something different, and instead the ending couples are basically the ones we met in the first episodes...
