Earl’s been in a coma for weeks, so, “like most month-old vegetables, the hospital wanted to throw him out.” And I, for one, really wanted him to come out of that coma already. Thankfully he did, but before that, Randy had to cross a few more items off Earl’s karma list to make it happen. In exchange for paintball money, Randy takes Earl out of the hospital in a shopping cart. On his way home, he runs into a hooker who sells him a hilariously pimped out wheelchair complete with a sound system, lights, and bubbles. (I now know what I want for Christmas.) Of course, Joy is jealous. At the crab shack, Joy and Darnell don’t think Randy is capable of caring for the still-comatose Earl, and they’re proven right when he fills Earl’s IV with chicken and beer. I’m no doctor, but I would not personally consider that safe.
