Another Idol Goes Home

On tonight’s show, finalist Kristy Lee Cook was eliminated from the AMERICAN IDOL competition after she received the fewest of America’s nearly 36 million votes. On Tuesday's performance show, contestants sang Mariah Carey songs, and Cook, 24, from Selma, OR, sang "Forever."

On Tuesday, April 22 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top 6 finalists (Brooke White, Carly Smithson, David Archuleta, David Cook, Jason Castro and Syesha Mercado) will return to the Idol stage to perform the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Tune in the following night to see a live performance by world-renowned artist Andrew Lloyd Webber and to find out who receives enough votes to stay in the competition and who must go home on the results show Wednesday, April 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

  1. You have to love the fact that David A. sat down on the stage rather than pick the side that was safe, don't ya think? That in it's self is going to win him votes!
