Tonight’s Result Show was a shocker. Well, at least it was for me… my two favorite performances went straight to the Bottom Two. But what do I know? Keep reading for all the facts. The horrible, bloody facts.
David A. sang "Think Of Me" from Phantom of the Opera
Randy said it was a really cool take on the song.
Paula thought he took a risk and it paid off perfectly.
Simon said it was forgettable and one of his weakest performances.
Result: Safe
David C. sang "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera
Randy declared the performance a molten-hot lava bomb.
Paula said it was fantastic and showed how well-rounded he is.
Simon thought it was just fine.
Result: Safe
Brooke sang “You Must Love Me” from Evita
Randy thought she connected with the lyrics but it wasn’t a great performance.
Paula said you should never start and stop. Never.
Simon was uncomfortable but congratulated her on her bravery.
Result: Safe
Jason sang “Memory” from Cats
Randy said it was a train wreck.
Paula liked Jason’s twist to the song, but wasn’t too impressed.
Simon thought it was the longest, most painful two minutes ever.
Result: Safe
Syesha sang "One Rock & Roll Too Many" from Starlight Express
Randy thought it was surprising and her best performance to date.
Paula was not surprised and thought she brought the house down.
Simon said she was very sexy and had massive personality.
Result: In the Bottom Two
Carly sang "Jesus Christ Superstar" from Jesus Christ Superstar
Randy said she did a great job with a really hard song.
Paula absolutely loved it.
Simon loved it too and said it was his favorite performance of the night.
Result: Eliminated

WHAT WAS UP WITH LAST NIGHT??? It was like Daughtry and Michael Johns all over again. I must admit ..I felt that Syesha should have gone a couple people back, but she was excellent this week! I really like Jason and Brooke but lets face it they were the bottom 2 and it should have been one of them.
