So check this out, I’m two weeks behind on these UNHITCHED Recap & Reviews and to make matters worse, there were three episodes during the past two weeks. If you missed the new comedy about a group of friends venturing into the world after divorce, you can catch up here. If you have been keeping up then there is a good chance you enjoy it as much as I do. Either way, I hope you find some time to share your TwoCents about the show and how it might relate your everyday life.

Here’s a breakdown of each character’s social encounters for each episode:

So check this out, I’m two weeks behind on these UNHITCHED Recap & Reviews and to make matters worse, there were three episodes during the past two weeks. If you missed the new comedy about a group of friends venturing into the world after divorce, you can catch up here. If you have been keeping up then there is a good chance you enjoy it as much as I do. Either way, I hope you find some time to share your TwoCents about the show and how it might relate your everyday life.

Here’s a breakdown of each character’s social encounters for each episode:

    “Conjoined Twins Pitch No-Hitter”
    March 16, 2008
Kate: She goes on date with a guy to restaurant where you eat in complete darkness. Her date hears his ex-wife’s laugh and it turns out she’s out with his brother. This causes a huge food fight. When the lights turn on, Kate has spaghetti all over herself. Kate also goes to a birthday party for her friend’s kid. Knowing she will see her ex-husband, Chad, Kate makes sure to look extra stunning. Turns out Chad brings his fiancée. Kate leaves the party with a guy dressed up like Prince Charming on the rented pony the kids rode on. Prince Charming turns his nice gesture into a poor decision by Kate when he cops a feel during the ride down the street.
Tommy: Volunteers to go to the birthday party with Kate as her support person. His ulterior motive is to meet a hot single mom. He does just that, ditching Kate and failing as her support system.
Gator & Freddy: Gator meets Kate’s friend, Gabby, and instantly has a crush on her after a quick exchange of flirtatious dialogue that ends with a hug. He then meets Freddy and their friend Phil (carting a baby around) at the local pub. They meet two young nannies from Iceland who invite Gator and Freddy to party. Gator tries to relive his college years and drink like he is at the frat again, thinking he is doing Freddy a favor by being his wingman. Gator over does it, embarrassing himself and landing himself in the hospital. His new crush, Gabby, happens to be the doctor on duty and finds Gator in the ER. Freddy opens his big mouth and brags about Gator’s drinking prowess, exactly what got him into the ER. Gabby is less than thrilled.
PG’s TwoCents: So our foursome split up in this episode to attend social gatherings. Kate and Gator didn’t come away with party favors, but Freddy and Tommy seemed to have a blast. The positives and negatives each character encountered were hilarious. I hope these four never get in serious relationships because its so entertaining to watch them fail at dating. Do you have any horror stories from social gatherings? Please share.

    “Mardi Gras Croc Attack”
    March 23, 2008 at 8:30 PM EST
Gator: While walking with his date after dinner, Gator tries to apprehend a thief that snatches her purse. Unfortunately Gator is so out of shape he can’t make it more than 20 yards during the chase. His date wasn’t impressed. This motivates Gator to join a gym with Kate and take up boxing - another bad decision. Gator gets bullied and embarrassed by a female boxer who taunts him into fighting her. Yeah, he loses.
Kate: Encounters a co-worker, Emma, in the gym locker room who doesn’t mind having conversation in the nude. Kate is completely bothered by this. When she finally gets the nerve to confront her, Emma breaks down about her recent divorce and her husband’s refusal to touch her because of her hideous body. Kate puts aside her disgust and gives Emma a consoling hug…even though Emma is butt naked.
Tommy & Freddy: Tommy tells the group about his failure to pleasure a woman who said she has never had an orgasm. Freddy agrees to teach Tommy the art of conscious love-making. And it all begins with Tommy abstaining from pleasuring himself. Tommy makes it through the week-long course and is ready for his date with the un-pleasured woman. He has saved so much up during the week that when Phil stops by and pats him on the back, Tommy completely “unloads” in front of everyone.
PG’s TwoCents: Freddy came out the winner in this one. He didn’t really have any relationship mishaps. I can relate to Kate and Gator. I’ve had uncomfortable locker room encounters and yes, I have been beaten by a female in an athletic competition. I’m not too proud to admit it. Are you? Please share your awkward encounters or sports encounters with the other gender.

“Yorkshire Terrier Sucked Into the Internet”
    March 23, 2008 at 9:30 PM EST
Gator: Feeling guilty about his poor choice of words about handicap people in the presence of his wheelchair bound boss, Gator decides to hire an assistant that is also in a wheelchair. Darren, the new hire, uses his disability to make Gator look inconsiderate with every request he has for his new assistant.
Kate: She decides to go on a date with Darren and sees how manipulative he is with his condition. Kate confronts him and he admits his misuse of his handicap. When they decide to give the date a second chance and a fresh start, it is revealed that Darren is cheating on his wife by a popular television show that uncovers cheating spouses on the air.
Freddy: Encouraged by his friends to get back in the saddle, Freddy decides to enter an internet dating site. When he has trouble uploading his profile, he decides to call the helpdesk only to be assisted by his ex-wife. They have a great time getting reacquainted over the phone, but also realize why they are no longer together. They do end the conversation on good terms.
Tommy: Tommy is summoned to jury duty, but doesn’t want to go. When he gets there he finds a love interest. The only problem is she is the defendant. After exchanging fond glances with her, day dreaming about romances with her, and defending his love-at-first-sight with the rest of the jury – she is found guilty of murdering her husband. On her way out of the court room she breaks away from the police and runs at Tommy, giving him a long passionate kiss and signaling for him to call her sometime. Tommy got the girl…well in about 50 years if she has good behavior.
PG’s TwoCents: This was another hilarious episode about the relationship antics these four characters encounter. Have you tried internet dating? How about forbidden love? Do you make politically incorrect comments only to find an offended person sitting within earshot of you? Please share. I would love to continue laughing.

    See you next week!
