There’s lots of activity at the Buy More, Lester is ripping everyone off with his dradle game, the gang is gearing up for the Chris… er holiday party and Chuck is staking out the hot dog joint to see if Sarah shows up for work or if she ran off with Bryce Larkin.

Lester and Jeff, Chuck’s two nerd herd lackeys, are sent out on a service call to some rich guy’s boat. Chuck has to come along to supervise. Aboard the boat, Jeff and Lester try to flirt with some bikini-clad girls with fake boobs, but Chuck’s got his eye on some other counterfeits. He spots some guys counting up some counterfeit bills and flashes on one of the bills.

General Grandma and the Candyman tell Chuck and Casey (Sarah still hasn’t shown up) that the government has been tracking the counterfeit bills. Sarah finally shows up, to everyone’s surprise and they get briefed about Lon Kirk, the rich guy from the boat. He’s a humanitarian who could be tied to some counterfeiters in town trying to buy some new printing plates on the black market. General Grandma and the Candyman set Chuck and Sarah to pose as a couple and attend Kirk’s charity casino night.

Chuck and Sarah finally get a chance to talk and she regrets kissing him when the “bomb” was set to explode. She makes a point of saying that everything is “work” and is very standoffish and cold towards Chuck now.

Big Mike rattles the gang’s cages about the Chris…Holiday Party and Morgan is mad at Anna because while he was stalking her he saw her get picked up by some guy. Anna comes clean and admits that a guy did pick her up – her parents chauffeur. Her parents are in town from Taiwan on business. Morgan foolishly demands to meet them. Later the guys convince Morgan that when he meets her parents he should pretend to be someone else – anyone else if he wants to impress them.

Chuck is Bond-ed up in his tuxedo when he picks up Sarah who’s ready to go to work. She keeps bringing up the whole “work” thing. I guess Chuck can’t take a hint. They arrive at the casino night and Sarah tells Chuck that the CIA staked him 100. They head over the roulette where Lon Kirk is playing. Casey is running the game and he tries to talk Chuck out of betting his entire 100 on black – but Chuck isn’t having it because Wesley Snipes advised him to always bet on black in Passenger 57. Chuck loses and Kirk is impressed with his $100,000 contribution to his charity. $100,000!? Sarah sees an opportunity to get closer to Kirk by flirting with him and she jumps at the chance. Chuck flashes on a Chinese diplomat (a friend of Anna’s parents perhaps?) and realizes that they are using the charity as a front to launder counterfeit money.

The next day, Chuck spots Casey washing his 1985 Crown Victoria in the parking lot. Is he washing it or making love to it? Casey certainly loves this car and he’s added some special modifications of his own including a fancy GPS system (remember that for later, gang).

At the yacht club, Morgan embarrasses himself, of course, with Anna’s parents. He almost gives them the Say Anything “I don’t want to buy, sell or process anything…” speech while Anna sits there acting demure. Morgan spots Sarah on Kirk’s boat and calls Chuck to let him know and damn it Chuck’s got an iPhone. How come everyone on tv has an iPhone now? I want one!

Chuck heads down to the marina and Casey is already on the scene working surveillance for Sarah. Sarah is about to “go below decks” with Kirk when Chuck flashes on some crates on the boat. He thinks the counterfeit plates are in the boxes, so Casey mobilizes his team and they board the boat only to find that the crates contain medical supplies that Kirk was bringing to earthquake victims.

Casey and Sarah get yelled at by General Grandma and the Candyman. They want to know why the raided Kirk’s boat. They try to explain that the raid was based on intel from the intersect (Chuck) and contemplate why Chuck could be wrong. Could his emotions have fouled up the machinery? Casey and Sarah think Kirk must have hidden the plates somewhere else but they get pulled off the case. Casey yells at Sarah for becoming emotionally involved with Chuck. She tells him she’s going to talk to Chuck and if she can’t fix it, she’s going to ask for a reassignment. (Yeah right.)

Morgan tells Chuck he and Anna are going on a yacht cruise with her parents and some Taiwanese diplomats and invites him and Sarah to come along, but that’s not going to happen since he and Sarah are on the outs.

Chuck is looking at some pictures Morgan sent him (on his damn iPhone, grrr) and he sees the crates with the counterfeits on the boat where Anna’s parents are cruising. He goes to round up Casey, but Casey is all business and obeys orders so he won’t listen to Chuck – who was wrong about the crates once already. Chuck then goes to Sarah, and she doesn’t hesitate. She jumps into action with Chuck.

At the marina, Chuck flashes on the boat and realizes that it’s been tagged with a GPS tracking system and is going to be blown up. Casey shows up, in his Crown Vic, to protect the Intersect (Chuck) and he didn’t want to miss any gunplay. Morgan is aboard the boat as well and he’s doing his Leonardo DiCaprio “king of the world” on the boat that’s about to be blown up. I guess that Lon Kirk guy got his money already and since he knows the feds are all up in his business he’s going to destroy the plates by destroying the boat. Is it worth that much to blow up all those diplomats along with the evidence? I think not.

Sarah spots Kirk’s boat and realizes that must be where he’s going to launch the missile attack. She tries to flirt her way onboard and Chuck shows up to pretend (really badly but on purpose) to be jealous while Casey boards the boat to take out the missile. The distraction didn’t work on Lon, who jumps below deck and fires the missile right between Chuck’s legs. There’s a big fight and everyone is taken down everyone except the missile that is. Chuck finds the GPS guidance system controlling it and he needs some other coordinates to aim the missile. What else nearby has it’s own GPS system? Hmmm could it be Casey’s beloved Crown Vic? Of course it is. They wouldn’t show Casey loving that car so much earlier in the episode if it weren’t going to be blown up by the end. Chuck pilots the missile into Casey’s car and saves the day.

Then it’s time for the Buy More Chris…Holiday party. Where Big Mike is dressed as Santa. Everyone is dancing and partying and Anna takes Morgan aside to tell him she wasn’t embarrassed by him with her parents. She was embarrassed of herself and they way she has to act (and dress) around them. Sarah and Chuck have a talk and they sort of patch things up and agree to be friends.

General Grandma calls Casey to let him know that the Intersect 2.0 is almost up and running. She reminds him that once that Intersect is finished he’s going to have to eliminate Chuck. General Granny is glad that Casey hasn’t grown too fond of “the subject” (Chuck) and become compromised. Casey watches Sarah and Chuck dancing while he tells her that he understands his orders. Happy Holidays.

Well that’s it for Chuck for the rest of the year. More Chucks are coming in 2008, if the strike doesn’t kill them. I haven’t heard how many episodes they had in the can before the strike.
