Dr. Erica Hahn impresses me. Because she has already worked with most of the doctors, or is at least known at the hospital, she expects to be welcomes graciously. Her hopes diminish as she becomes labeled the new "Dr. Burke." However, she fights her way into the mold, can boss around the Chief, while finding the respect that she deserves. The clashing with Cristina is funny to the point of almost painful, but it's nice to see Izzie with her confidence back because of the surgeon.

Dr. Erica Hahn impresses me. Because she has already worked with most of the doctors, or is at least known at the hospital, she expects to be welcomes graciously. We almost go a whole episode without Izzie crying, having an emotional or mental breakdown or some other sign of weakness. She had to go and cry when she canceled the hot sex night she had planned with George. I love George. George is my favorite character. But, I'm not sure whether or not I like Izzie with George. Speaking of couples that I am unsure of, Lexie and Alex? Um, no, that's not allowed. It's almost like Alex has backtracked into his imbecile ways. And, I don't like it. And George, let's discuss him. So, he holds onto this wedding dress because Callie asks Mark to humiliate him. And the woman needs to go into surgery, so George is stuck holding onto this dress, trying to win the contest for the lady in surgery. However, the other woman fighting to win the contest starts to tell a touching story, and George realizes that it is better to let Callie go. He then passes Callie in the hall, and they share a joke.

Meredith wants to know what's wrong with her. Abandonment issues, Cristina says. Meredith's problem is that she dwells too much on what is wrong with her and doesn't actually spend enough time trying to fix it. I think that this episode shows that she is starting to realize that she just needs to be. Meredith converses with a sky diver who falls 12,000 feet without a parachute and lives (Which, by the way, has the probability of like 1 in a million). He's actually in love with his instructor but cannot find the words to tell her. Meredith advises him to tell her and that this amazing feeling of being alive will change him. She then talks to Derek about her near-death drowning from last season. Maybe this is her turning point. Let's hope, because Meredith is becoming quite a boring character.

Overall, a more boring episode. Hopefully, it's a set up for more exciting weeks ahead. Like a stable relationship with Meredith and Derek, for one.
