There’s a shipping container being unloaded at the docks. The one we’re interested in has radioactive symbols all over it and inside there’s with a digital countdown timer. A bomb?

Over at the Buy More, Chuck re-fake breaks up with Sarah, just in case you didn’t see last week’s episode when he fake breaked with her the first time. After the second fake break, Chuck heads over to see Lou (Rachel Bilson, The O.C.). While Chuck is gone, Casey and Sarah fill General Grandma in on the change in plans since Sarah can’t pose as Chuck’s girlfriend anymore. General Grandma wants Lou investigated.

Inside his Nerd-mobile, Chuck is doing his own investigation of the inside of Lou’s mouth with his tongue. She invites him inside and he gets lucky with a sandwich. While he’s declaring his sandwich love, Chuck flashes on a poster on the wall of the sandwich shop. Stavros Demetrios is hosting a big event at some club, but he’s also a smuggler. Is he the kind of smuggler who might have a big bomb inside a shipping container down at the docks?

Chuck finds out that Demetrios is Lou’s ex-boyfriend. General Grandma has intel about a volatile shipping container that’s heading for Chuck-ville and Demetrios just maybe the guy who’s bringing it. She wants Casey, Sarah and Chuck to investigate Demetrios and his shipping magnate father.

The handlers put a wire on Chuck and send him (with Lou) to Club Aries to spy on Demetrios. Chuck is nervous (what else is new?) and Sarah heads into the club to do a little recon of her own. Lou spots her and things get weird. Chuck tells Lou that she’s a stalker but Lou storms off anyway. Chuck spots Demetrios’ arm importer father coming in and flashes on him. He plants his microphone on a drink tray so they can listen in on their conversation. Casey and Sarah hear them talking about the shipping container and it’s “time sensitive” nature. If the clock runs out before they get the package they’re all going to be dead. So it is a bomb?

Over in the B-Plot, Morgan dates Anna.

Chuck buys flowers and tries to apologize to Lou, but she’s very busy at the deli and he has to take a number. Casey and Sarah show up with a strike team at the dock. They cut open the shipping container while Casey enjoys a cigar. The box is a decoy and doesn’t contain the “bomb.” Chuck’s number gets called, but he’s waited on by the big burly guy and not Lou. He has to take another number and this time his wait is going to be much, much longer. When he finally gets called again, Lou only wants to hear his sandwich order so Chuck has her make a sexual-metaphor sandwich and apologizes while the sandwich is being grilled. All is forgiven and even the burly guy is impressed with Chuck.

Demetrios and his father are discussing the shipping container again. They don’t know what is inside and it’s not their job to know. They just know they have to get it before the time expires. They also have Chuck’s wireless microphone from the club and Daddy Demetrios wants Chuck to come down and explain himself.

Casey and Sarah are mad about the decoy shipping container and believe that Lou tipped off Demetrios and they set up the decoy. They have a picture of Lou and Demetrios talking in an alley. Chuck does some spying and sees Lou getting a secret shipment from Demetrios behind her deli. He confronts her and rips open the package to find a bunch of illegally imported meats and cheeses. When Lou storms off again, Sarah shows up and so does an armed Demetrios – who stuffs the two into the trunk of his car.

Casey poses as a Food and Drug Administration agent and gets Lou to tell him where Demetrios is getting his shipping containers. Down at the dock, Daddy Demetrios is about to torture Sarah to find out if anyone else knows about their secret shipping container. Chuck flashes on some of the henchmen and knows all sorts of secrets about them. He starts spouting intel and causes a huge in-fight. The shipping container just got offloaded and they don’t have time to kill Chuck and Sarah, since it’s going to “expire” in less than five minutes. They promise to come back and kill them later. Chuck thinks there’s some sort of chemical weapon in the container and they have to get there before it blows, so it’s a good thing Casey and his strike team show up when they do. There’s a big gun fight and Sarah and Chuck race to find the “bomb.”

Chuck and Sarah find the “bomb” and argue about who is going to try to defuse it. Chuck thinks he can do a better job since he’s got all that data implanted in his brain and Sarah pulls a gun and tells Chuck to run. Neither will back down and the clock counts down to zero while they argue. Just as it’s about to “explode” they kiss. There’s no explosion and Sarah is uncomfortable about kissing Chuck when she thought they were both going to be killed.

The next day, Chuck apologizes to Lou again, but she won’t have it. She knows he’s with Casey from the “Food and Drug Administration.” She doesn’t think he ever really liked her. She believes that Chuck was just investigating her illegally imported meats and cheeses. Chuck tells her that he did really like her. That she is everything that he’s looking for, but things are complicated and he can’t really look right now.

The feds have had some time to work on the package from the shipping container and it wasn’t bomb after all. The countdown was measuring an oxygen supply inside the box. They crack it open and guess what’s inside – Bryce Larkin, the spy who started this whole crazy adventure and he’s alive. While Sarah is realizing that her rouge-spy boyfriend is back from the dead, Chuck is still thinking about that kiss and he leaves a voicemail for Sarah asking her out on a real date.
