The Odd Quad is playing Who Would You Do. Jessica Biel for free or One of the Golden Girls and get a million dollars? Which Golden Girl? Is the million before or after taxes? They all agree to do the Golden Girl. Gracen proposes “Dame Judy Dench or a bear?” and the guys want to know what the bear looks like.
Later, in bed, Gracen is trying to get romantic, but Leila isn’t having it because he’s become too predictable. The next day, Dougie (Tim Peper, The Guiding Light) is driving and Gracen tells the guys that he’s not spontaneous enough in bed for his wife. Dougie suggests he try date night with his wife and Aubrey thinks that sounds like a good idea too.
Gracen shows up to pick up Leila for date night and his son Marmaduke borrows money so he can slip some into his dad’s pocket on his way out. Dougie and Cindy (Allison Munn, That 70s Show) are enjoying their own date night. Aubrey isn’t so lucky. He’s sent his brood of children to a babysitter and warmed up some massage oil (for his wife’s feet?) in the microwave. He’s about to get down to business when one of his kids pops out from behind a chair. He must have missed one and he shoots himself in the face with the massage oil. Gracen and Leila talk about the Who Would You Do game and agree to play at the same time by shouting out the person who they would do. Gracen says Heidi Klum (look out Seal!) and Leila says Laird. She didn’t know you were allowed to use famous people in the game. Date night is ruined.
The next morning Gracen tries to get Dougie to leave Laird behind in the carpool, but Laird is fast and the car gets stuck behind some old people crossing the street so Laird jumps in. Gracen tells Laird he is having a couples only party the next day at his place and Laird can’t come since it’s couples only.
Back at Gracen manor they are preparing for the party. Marmaduke wants the money he borrowed to slip into his dad’s pocket back. Aubrey and his wife and kids show up and Dougie and Cindy and a few other random couples. Laird finds a date and brings her to the party. Gracen and Leila are arguing about Laird in the kitchen and he overhears them. He gets mad and goes off on everyone at the party about how hard his life is being a devastatingly handsome man. He goes to bed with a different beautiful woman every night but he wakes up alone. “Because you kick them out,” remarks Gracen. “Maybe so, my friend,” says Dr. Laird as he storms off. “Maybe so.” Dougie and Cindy tell Aubrey to take advantage of the kids being at the party and have a date night while nobody is in their house. Aubrey tells his wife to throw her shoes back on, cause it’s show time. Douge and Cindy are happy and Cindy is glad she didn’t embarrass herself at this party. They walk away and we see Cindy’s dress is tucked into her underwear. After the party Leila comes on to Gracen, being the spontaneous one and resorting order to Gracen Manor. 4 out of 5 stars.
