I remember watching Marcel on the Muppett Show, if anyone could make mime actually look interesting, it was Marceau.

He passed away this weekend at the age of 84.

"Marceau almost single-handedly revived mime, but he didn't take himself too seriously. He made the circuit of talk- and variety shows, including Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.
