Some Ratings Fun

E! has an article about the season's television ratings and more specifically last week.

Now, I should start by saying I'm a big fan of CSI and CSI:NY. (Don't get me started about Miami, I just can't take the one liners or the sunglasses acting anymore!! Even Jim Carrey makes fun of it!)

According to the E! article: "With three episodes to go in the season, the veteran CBS forensics series is closing in on yet another title as TV's most watched scripted show....To be sure, the Seattle doctors of Grey's Anatomy have turned some heads away from CSI, which is averaging 4.5 million fewer viewers this season than last. The ABC medical drama moved to Thursday nights opposite CSI last fall. But while Grey's took several of the early rounds, CSI has taken the later ones, including last week's, winning the head-to-head matchup 20.2 million viewers (fourth place) to 20.1 million viewers (fifth place), per the latest Nielsen Media Research rankings."

Some other fun tidbits E! found include:

- "American Idol Gives Back" drew 2 million viewers LESS than the week before when Sanjaya said buh bye.

- "The King of Queens" (another of my favs) is saying goodbye in style with a 14th place finish!

- NBC aired a movie on Sunday night, pretty much giving up to the fact that everyone is watching "The Sopranos" and "Entourage".
